  • Ive gone through two in 1.5 years. Constantly looking down. Left remap bumper not working. Left trigger not working. its a pitty because i definately see what they're going for and like it. I have a TE and ive found that winding my sensitivity alot decreases the durability of my sticks.....but then again - im just the 'consumer' hahahaha.....

  • i've got second onza and its fucked up too

give me my money back trololol

  • this controller is a piece of shit the stick is twitchy as fuck and I cant aim right but now I cant get used to regular controller fuck you razer

  • Why don't they mention this in the manual???! I may buy it again (and add a warranty because they break in a month) just for this.

  • fuck it

i bought it and it aims downward

    plz need help with it

  • ive ahd mine for a few weeks now hasnt let me down once

  • Oh and don't forget the stupid Left Trigger not working....

  • This is a really nice tweak which does improve the controller a lot imo.

I do wish that there was a secret button combo to turn off the light behind the ABXY buttons though, it's very annoying when you have it plugged into a computer that's always on.

  • I had that when I accidently removed the usb and plugged back in and then started to play just the second it was plugged in and I just couldn't play... It was too high for some time but it went back.

  • Do the standard Razer Onza also have stick problems, or is it just the TE?

  • DON*t BUY this controller! it's broken as hell and theyll never fix it, I have used 9!!! controllers and all of them as been broken in some kind of way. either it's LS or RS LMFB or D-pad or LT. DONT buy it's shit if you're gonna buy it atleast wait until next gen consoles comes to see razer MAYBE make a new controller that is NOT SHIT!!!!! end of story. AND ALWAYS wait up till 3 months when you buy these kinds of problems and for consoles(or expensive stuff) wait a year before you buy.Nuff said

  • @TaileruKun Also it brakes in matters of hours ot a couple of weeks. AND ONCE IT WAS FLAWLESSLY WORKING for and entire 6 weeks but that was only ONCE OUT of 9 controllers so yeah they FAIL.

  • Purchased the Onza TE and in under 3 hours of gameplay the left thumbstick stopped responding to clicks... so I can't sprint in FPS games.

Exchanged for second unit at BB, and this one rattles inside the case and the headset jack isn't working... I can hear people in my party, but they cannot hear me.

What a piece of junk... Razer you really let us down with this product. : /

  • @schmoofadoop i have the same problem as the first controller and i did this trick and it helped its not bad but they definitely need to fix these stupid bugs in them

  • @schmoofadoop yup same with me And the rubber tip of the joystick started to come off too...

  • @schmoofadoop You just happen to get extremely unlucky... I have had mine since May 10th,2011, and it works fine the same as it did when i got it to this day!

  • fix the analog stick problem b4 u release a product!

  • suck it razer!

  • can u turn off the backlit buttons?

  • Mine goes to the left :S! And it has like 2 months of playing FableIII and GTAIV :S non of which has high stress on the stick (i realized about it playing FFXIV though)

  • Yea, I can't recommend this controller (either version). I purchased a TE and a regular Onza, and both have the "drift down" problem, which they developed after a few weeks to a month or so of very light play. I just tried using this trick (several times) and the problem did not go away at all. I love my DeathAdder mouse, but these Onzas have serious issues.

  • @wolfmage75 i have th same problem. love the controller so i continue to buy new ones but after bout 2 months the aim will start switching down and its very annoying. i hope they fix it.

  • Does this work on the regular onza?

  • @Apersonnamedbob Yeah, I have a SE and the both sticks have the drift down problem.

  • This should be a feature listed on the box! There are tons of people who will never know about this and would love it.

  • MAKE SOMETHING ABOUT THE STICK ISSUE! I HATE IT!!! IT'S JUST GOING DOWN AND OOOH MANN!!!

  • @oribali1 I have to fight with mine to keep it aiming up... It will aim right at the ground all on its own and it fucking kills my sharpshooting.. I have had this thing for only 2 days!!!!

  • Will doing this fix any of the problems I hear about the analog sticks drifting down on their own,not being able to push sprint button properly etc?

  • @MrMontyBurnsDog No, still moves down on mine.

  • @Daaefen Sorry to hear you still have probs and thanks for telling me

  • There is one big problem Razer doesn't seem to address. When using the Onza TE with Turtle Beaches (or any other wired headset for that matter) people get mic buzz from the vibration function. Is there anyway to fix that?

  • @iAmAnonymousTom I use a set of wireless TB X41's and don't have any buzzing. I know that doesn't help much...but I thought I'd throw in my two cents anyways. Oh, but my friend has a set of wired X11's and he doesn't get any buzzing with the rumble on his Onza TE. Hope you fix your problem!

  • I had an Onza TE and it wouldn't remember the high sensitivity setting so I kept having to reset it after every game. Is that normal? Im thinking about buying another one because I loved it while it lasted.

  • sometimes when im playing i wont even touch the analog stick and the crosshair will move

  • my razer onza TE broke =/

  • "Razer Onza is calibrated to the higher sensitivity you may experience a double movement actuation when navigating through menu options. This is due to the extreme sensitivity of the analog sticks but will not have a negative effect during gameplay. When setting the Razer Onza to the default analog stick calibration no extra sensitive effects during menu navigation will be present. "

it does afect my game play somtimes it goes down when i press up, it goes up and then down

  • what program was onscreen?

  • Guys! If your Onza develops slow-turn, just switch to the other mode and back again, and it fixes itself! :)

  • Wow! I was just about to return my controller for another one, until I found this video. Really helped the issue of incorrect input.

You never cease to amaze me, Razer.

  • enough is enough!

    search "thecoolerhckr" for the

    only Working xbox live generator

    on Youtube.

  • THANK YOU! :)

  • thank you so mutch

  • thats sad, i just bought one and its already at 95%. fucking sad.

  • Thank you so much i just got my second onza after the first one had to be replaced and this hidden feature made it so i could sprint

    My hero!<3

  • Worked for awhile I could sprint in black ops finally. But now the left analog seems to be registering that I'm walking backwards "sigh"...I can't even walk now most of the time. Looks like back to ms controller until I can maybe get a replacement it feels terrible to me now though.

  • whats that checker thing he was talking about. I coulnt understand him too well

  • @brawler9686 Check the description.

  • god thank you! you really saved me the trouble of returning it!

    love to razer <3

  • Same L3 Issue for me, replacement on the way but it's less than 3 weeks old... Hope this is an isolated batch and the new one survives - Razer guys is this something you have acknowledged/addressed? £40-50 for a controller is a lot of money, I love it but it renders it useless for FPS.

  • Sigh, just tried this and didnt like... now I cant get it to reset :( faulty controller that is going back anyway, leaving the next well alone.

  • @11radben No. If you move the stick just a little, it will feel like you moved it to maximum articulation.

  • this works with all the controllers right, not just the tournament?

  • This didn't fix me slow walking. Now, when I push forward my player won't even move forward. Is there a fix for this? Bit disappointed..loved the controller up until it became unusable.

  • Have to agree-- 3 onza's and everyone has had L3 issues. I'm done. This is a neat idea marred by terrible execution.

  • Thank you so much for this video! I was freaking out before because my razer onza wasn't getting 100's on both analog sticks! After watching the video and resetting the sensitivity I am now relieved because the problem is fixed!

  • had my razer onza ~2 weeks and for some reason i can pretty much not move forward because my left analog stick has decided it dont wanna work properly. if i hold it all the way forward my guy crawls forward at best and even when i try to sprint it doesnt work most the time. also when i move backwards even a tiny bit, after i have stopped pulling the stick back my guy continues to move backwards. my standard xbox 360 controller works perfectly so i know its the onza.

    what the fuck is happening?

  • @spl0ck There is clearly an issue with the left analog stick on Razor Onza Tournament Edition controllers. Playing CoD Black Ops, I have been experiencing the exact same problem as you. I have returned two Onza Tournaments and all three have had the exact same problem. Clicking the left stick to run intermittently gets ignored by the game. Not being able to run reliably makes FPS games like CoD totally unplayable. My recommendation to prospective buyers is AVOID until Razor addresses this.

  • @spl0ck Good news, spl0ck! I contacted Razer phone support and expressed how dissatisfied I was and they asked me to return it to them for a replacement instead of going back to the store. Sounds like there was a run of bad controllers off the assembly line and if your store got them, chances are all of them are bad at that store.

  • @spl0ck im facing a same problem right now

  • Jus got mine and I must say that my pants are full of cum right now XD

  • awsome going to do this when i have my TE edition tomorow:P

  • what software is he using to test the deadzone and sensitivity?

  • If you play halo, definitely increase the sensitivity (by pressing A) or you will get slow turn. I was about to throw my controller off a building until I saw this video. Now (for the time being) there is minimal slow turn.

  • @pinobot

It does. I bought it for my PC and it is fun :P

Albeit it takes a while to get use to, and even then it isn't as good as a mouse and keyboard.

    But it is more fun.

  • control freaks increase sensitivity? are you dumb?

it doesn't let you actually turn the stick any further, it just lets you have a greater control over how far you move the stick. it increases accuracy. not the same as increased sensitivity

  • KontrolFreaks are to increase the sensitivity w/o doing so ingame, the onza does the same thing w/o KontrolFreaks. And the thumb sticks are raised. No need for KontrolFreaks anymore.

  • how do you even get the test screen to come up ?

  • just got mine today, it's very very awesome!

  • To anyone that wishes they had one, I've got a tourney edition for sale. ;)

  • Onza is full of win. I bought mine from the local Frys Electronics. Plenty in stock there :D.

  • Where is my onza ?! ;< Im from Poland ;<

  • 1:31 FAIL [The Twiter Logo] Join us on facebook

[The Facebook Logo] Follow us on Twitter big fail

  • That's fucking amazing! Razer was really smart when they made this controller.

  • @MrHav1k Not quite. Smart yes but if they where REALLY smart they would have made Knotrol Freaks usable.

  • @dryiyc

True. I hear you can still use em on the standard edition though.

  • What tool is he using to check sensitivity on xbox live? I cant tell what he is saying.

  • @z3razerviper

Slowturn Checker on XBOX live. If you search for it, it will bring you to the XBOX marketplace where you can download it to your XBOX; it's also in the the Indie games section

  • hurry up and release it already!!!

  • Comment removed

  • You should really advertise this with on the website because i personally thought the tournament edition wasn't sensitive enough, can't wait to try this tomorrow!!

  • I need to get this NOW!

  • Wow, didn't know this. Cool!

  • WTF!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Is that dude from Jackass Steve-O???? XDDDDD

  • Hmm i got my onza, and it was DOA. So now I am waiting for an RMA to send it back, and then wait another 3 weeks to get a new one.... This is cool to know, to bad I won't get to try it out for some time...

  • I have the tournament edition and all I can say is be careful with playing brawlers and beat em ups like dynasty warriors with the onza... My x button almost went out on me....

  • Does this work on the standard edition or only tournament edition?

  • how do i put it back to the way it shipped???

  • Why didn't Razer Onza say anything about this on the website?

Did they keep this feature hidden on purpose? I know a whole lot of gamers have been complaining about not being sensitive enough, and this could be a real selling point!

  • CAN YALL JUST RELEASE THE WIRELESS ONE ALREADY!!

  • @crockingmadness

    They can't.

Only Microsoft is allowed to make wireless controllers.

They can do and say that because they made the xbox 360 in the first place.

  • @MQnoob Thats bullshit, I play PS3 and I still thik that is Bulls hit!!

  • @TRAMAeagle

    That's how Microsoft works.

They have monopoly on wireless controllers.

  • Nice, ok so my Xbox side is now happy, what about ps3 controllers?

  • @scorpionzzz13

Get yourself a XCM battle adapter :P

Though I wouldn't be surprised if a PS3 version was on the way.

I've heard that Razer has been juggling the idea around.

  • what dose"X" and "B" do?

  • Comment removed

  • @C9HIS What's "whats"?

  • @C9HIS What's what's without a question mark?

  • @sksilentkillersksk ...it unlocks EXTREME MODE!!!111ONE!11... but actually im not sure maybe for right analog stick?

  • @zilverzero Just got a onza and only the "Y" and "A" do stuff, "X" and "B" do nothing.

  • @sksilentkillersksk there is probably another trick which uses them...

  • @sksilentkillersksk they... do... nothing xD (just tried it)

  • ever since my dealings with madcats controllers back in the n64 days, ive always steered clear of anything that was designed first party.

Can I guarantee strong reliability from these controllers? As strong as a typical Microsoft 360 controller?

  • @Nlaiankev Stronger. You will NOT regret buying the Onza.

  • @Nlaiankev FOR SURE. THE ONZA IS MUCH BETTER.

  • @Nlaiankev Razer Onza is getting good reviews and creds from Xbox gamers all over the place. They havent come to norway yet, so i cant tell, but razer has always delivered really nice stuff for my PC, so if you should trust anyone, its them. Not some cheap gimmicky stuff from MadCats or so.

  • @Nlaiankev

Mad Catz-Cheap finicky almost-one-time use product.

    Razer-An investment.

    Think of it that way.

  • This is all great and everything, but could u hurry up and start selling them on the Australia razer store. :)

  • @AshChapman777 On the razer facebook pgae i got told it'd be out by the end of april. im still doubting that since its taken this long just for it to be released AND they increased the price to $79.95 even though the AU dollar > US dollar

  • @AshChapman777

I agreeee right now they only have the red edition but i really want the TE whennn will it come to Aus

  • @AshChapman777 It has started, just ordered mine now but I think it's been there for a few days :)

  • Great. Now if you could only supply it to stores fast enough that'll be swell.

  • Nice controller I would like to own it some day.

  • Onza! mine is awesome.. Nice tip thanks.

  • i want this soo bad
