I really think they are the same i mean heath is playing what taiji used to play (in x japan songs) but solos are their own stuff so to me they are diffrent becuase taiji is more into harder music so his bass solo reflects off of it and if your a ligher like heath the solo dosent have to be all crazy and wild XD i dont think i even made sense

@Ruzik123... some of what you said makes sense, however I must disagree with you on one thing. Heath might be playing the same songs that Taiji used to play, but I am not the only one who has noticed that when I watch the older vids with Taiji and then the newer stuff with Heath... well, you can hear the bass a hell of a lot better in the songs that Heath is playing. Heath is more forceful in his playing but makes it look graceful.

@Kougasomoi Hmm...Hear the bass better with Heath. That's a joke. Heath's bass lines that you hear are simplified. You can't hear the bass in Weekend, Sadistic Desire, or anything anymore. Heath is unable to do things like Rose of Pain, Give Me the Pleasure, and Xclamation. Why do you think they haven't played those songs since Taiji left? No offense against Heath, but his playing is NOTHING special. Taiji was amazing!

HE's a bassist from X-JAPAN. while some may prefer former bassist Taji over HIM, a lot of people grew to love and respect HIM. HE has, after all been with the band (and us) for over 20 years now..
