I agree. Unless she was expecting it, I couldn't have disturb her especially in the middle of her practicing. On the other hand, she was very generous by letting the guy talk to her.
she plays concerts everywhere, just check her schedule on her website...and this is probably at berklee college of music in boston, not berkeley, CA :P
She's awesome. I met her the other day after a gig and she was really sweet, if absolutely exhausted (and way sweatier than in this video). Good on you for popping in to say hello.
Nice capture mizterdo. To those who say this is fake..well it ain't, it's definitely the one and only Hiromi Uehara right there playing the piano on Berklee. I personally met her here in Finland when she was throwing a gig at Tampere Finland 31/10/08. So i know, and let me tell you..i was all nervous like mizterdo was here..you know, she is such an nice person that it's hard to keep your thoughts together in a moment like that when you meet her actually in person face to face and talk to her.
To the guys saying this is fake. I just had my little camera and didn't know what to do in front of her. Partly because months before this happpened I listened to her music so much that to meet her out of nowhere was something I wouldn't imagine happening, but this happens all the time in school when some big names come around.
