  • The GBA SP might not read your games becuase:

    1. The game cartrigde might be dirty (clean it)

    2. The Gameboy Pin connecters might be dirty (clean it)

    3. The game might have damages in it's pins

Mine does that sometimes aswell, but then i clean it, and it works perfect.

  • The DS Lite has nothing wrong with it. The little black bar happened to my friend on his Gameboy Advanced SP, but his was all the way across the screen. Mine has it, but mine is almost the full screen. Mine got crushed :/ And the Gameboy doesn't have anything wrong with it. If you see the Nintendo logo come up, it loaded. Play the games on the working DS Lite...

The touch-screen doesn't read when I try to use the stylus sometimes on the pink DS and there is still a black bar on the screen, due to it being dropped (more than likely). And as for the GBA-SP, its not reading the games. Therefore it doesn't work properly. And the DS Lite is in fact damaged. But it doesn't matter because the Pink DS was stolen about a month ago anyways lol.

The reason that I wanted the SP was because I was wanting to get the 3DS with the trade-in deal at the time.
