@CrazyAfricanBabies ... It's called "little" league" for a reason. The field is all proportioned to the kids' age (12 and 13 rather than 30s) and strength. Would you have fun if you had to pitch a ball 60 feet when you're in 7th grade? Likewise with batting. It's just what makes sense.

These kids work their asses off to get to this point. Its not about who can throw the hardest but its about winning and having fun. Hitting a baseball is the hardest thing to do in sports. Less than half of these are actual homerun-worthy swings. LL needs to do something about those bats. I mean, I'm sure it feels good for these kids hitting all these homeruns and all but shit. The game plays like slow pitch softball now. Doesn't matter that the kid on the mound is throwing the equivalent of 95mph when all you have to do is stick the bat out.
