This is an amazing depiction of a womans perspective of an old fashioned pre-arranged marriage. What an awful sad truth it was. I am glad times have changed but there is still plenty of room for improvement.

What I really love about Emilie's vocie is her tone and emotion. I can honestly say there is no other vocalist that can convey emotions in the way that she can <3
I always wanted to get married when I was about 10 years old, now we're 7 years later, and I don't think I want to anymore, I mean, you say "I do" to someone, you promise a life together, and then, after a marriage of 10 - 20yrs you get a divorce. So, what is the point anyway these days? At least, that is my opinion now :)
@Angelke01 Frankly, there is no point. The majority of marriages do end in divorce, and in most of those that don't I truly believe people remain together mostly out of obligation. The chances that two people will remain "in love" and evolve together are very, very slim. Not to mention the fact that relationships shouldn't be contracted anyway. Marriage once had a purpose, I suppose (even if it was merely a social purpose). Now even that's pretty much gone. It's just pointless.

This song reminds me of my mother's and father's marriage except it wasn't arranged but it was a bad one . They divorced and father left my mother to raise the children on her own. @isabellebile Yeah, but mostly for financial reasons because America's universities are cheaper for us with scholarships, hahah :) There are good and bad workers in every field, but I think a lot of the stigma against lawyers is completely unwarranted. They are necessary and lots of them are very good. Hmm I guess, but I'm a hypocrite about littler things, you know, like...uh...trolling YouTube. Have you ever read The Catcher in the Rye? Sometimes I'm too much like Holden Caulfield.

Nowadays i'm pretty close to both of my parents since they can now be themselves. I am happy that they got a divorce. Both of my parents still love me and my brother very much and that is all I can ask for. :)
