What is meant by outtake? It was taken out of the completed film? I have it on VHS and I shall watch it someday, I can't believe I actually found it after 10 years of looking.
;) Thanks for this, btw. I already have it on dvd sent to me byt a friend but I came to this video because there's not much info about this film... oh, you can watch the whole thing on ubuweb, by the way. Take care!
There is a lengthy interview with Bokanowski in Scott MacDonald's recommended book "A Critical Cinema 2" in case you're interested. Otherwise you're right - it is hard to find informations about that film.
Absolutt. By the way, on my VHS they say that they prefere videotape before DVD because of the quality of light and such. That might have been written before blu-ray, though. And my VHS-player is crappy.
again... serching for different ways... he's impressive cause it allways affect you so particularly unique to everyone. its not for all so its pretentious. but thats fine

and name one film which is "for all". Gotta be fucking Shreck or Titanic, eh?;D Nothings "for all", dumbo.
Anyway, this piece here isnt the whole film. The full movie is about 70 min long, and its fucking unique, very inspiring and not at all pretentious.
well this is the second encounter.. ok first of all when i say "for all" is a film thats regular mainstream film where people would stay in their seats the whole time. ive seen proyections of his where most people would get up and leave or just fall asleep. secondly, i call him pretentious because he was "creating an appearance of importance with (often undeserved)" segments of filming, being looped. What is the music playing? I love it!

The score is by his wife Michèle Bokanowski - look up the updated informations on the film for some links.

It is just the opening sequence. The whole film runs for about 74 min.
And as I'm often asked about that: As long as the film is still commercially available, I won't put it up here in full length. Sorry.
simonettavespucci 2 years ago
I know it's that long, I just wondered about the meaning of the word "outtake", which I think means removed scene.
phadde 2 years ago
I think a better term would be "Excerpt"...

Thanks, I corrected it.
