  • There are so many people in this world who are starving and the only thing that the rich people are doing is making life even more better for themselves. The government cares nothing for us, only to see us dead. But there is a God who sees all and knows all. HELL'S FIRE IS WAITING FOR THESE PEOPLE. I PRAY FOR THEM. (THE CONTROLLERS.)

  • Communism woo!

  • This is so perfect

  • By the way... you have a great channel and I appreciate you supporting a vision for a better future. That is admirable and I commend you for that. My criticism of TVP is in no way a criticism of the intent or the people that would like to see a new way of doing things. I'm all for this violence-enforced Statist/Corporatist system to forever leave the planet. So high five for that! Cheers.

  • @LawrenceAugust Thanks for the encouragement brO! Free thinking is NOT freedom! We're on our way though.

  • Disgusting city design. I'd rather we just die off than live in this sterile hellhole, devoid of any real aesthetic not to mention any consideration for human dignity and imagination. Awful. Just awful. Sick to my stomach. The beautifully flawed and chaotically charming and dangerous yet wonderfully inspiring world giving way to a hyper-managed pre-fabricated human livestock hotel designed by soulless sociopathic humans who view machines as their masturbatory drug of choice. Dreadful.

  • @LawrenceAugust You're a happy guy...

  • @covellz LOL! Thanks.

  • @LawrenceAugust If you don't wish to live within this city design they'll potentially be 100's of cities to choose from. If you have no ability to create in your mind a "foreseeable future" we are all fu****ed!

  • @covellz I agree with you... in the area of choice. Unfortunately, many VP followers are fixating in an unhealthy and dogmatic way. This is dangerous. Our intellectual curiosity must not stop with The Venus Project. It's full of wild assumptions about our needs and wants.

It's funny. They advocate the Scientific Method, yet when you suggest the POSSIBILITY of perhaps a DIFFERENT societal construct, boy oh boy do the defense mechanisms come out. And THAT is bad bad science right there.

  • @LawrenceAugust The current system WILL collapse. That is evident. The Truth finds its way. But why replace wage enslavement with tech enslavement? Computers will not "free" us. Asking them to do so is an insult to humanity. Freedom is within. To dangle a carrot in front of humanity telling them that this will give them freedom is just another way putting off responsibility for finding it WITHIN. TVP is just another fallacious external promise of freedom. "Look at the COOL CIRCULAR CITY! WOWW!"

  • @LawrenceAugust Point well taken. Neither of us have the answers today, but we can both see a problem with the current monetary structure of the global economic society. When it's boiled all down, society will need to re-structure itself based on whatever is a sustainable reality for the area people choose to have their families grow up. There are 12X the resources to feed every mouth on the planet RIGHT NOW, but we do not use our resources wisely yet.

    Zeitgeist Movement is a bridge!

  • @covellz ZM is a bridge... if anything, to new ways of thinking. The mental stimulation it's generating alone excites me. I think what you'll see is new solutions that ALSO take into account sustainability but still involve a "market", if you will. I know VPers recoil at that word, but if I hand you an eggplant for your potato, we've just engaged in exchange. People say "Well, you'd be able to access everything, why exchange?" Well, because maybe you're standing next to me and it's "efficient"?

  • @LawrenceAugust Why does money exist? Shoot me a message if you cannot do it in this box.

  • @covellz "Money" doesn't really exist. It's an abstraction. That's why "eliminating" it is as silly as a War on Terror. Terror is an abstraction. You can't eliminate an idea. You can blink away the paper dollars, and a new "currency" develops. My tall height is currency to short people that can't reach high things. I can reach it for them. They can shine my shoes in exchange. I could create a Barter Buck, and we could all agree on it. Competing currencies work better than "no" currencies. IMO.

  • @covellz Think of all the things that get in the way of a real "free market" (taxes, permits, fees, fiat money, gov't monopolies, etc) as a big boulder blocking a stream. The stream fights it's way around the rock and manages to slowly drip around it. Once you remove the rock, what happens? It's not like the water will keep running around the newly created hole. No. Massive GUSH. innovation, mobility, ideas that can actually take off, etc. Electric cars are a great example. Demand IS THERE.

  • @LawrenceAugust There are arguments about how monopolies and cartels would form, that there would still be the issue of banks, loans, interests, etc. Monopolies, however, are actually much EASIER to form using State power. We get rid of the State, we would have much more choice than we do now, and much, much more ability to innovate and meet "real" demands. Especially in alternative energies. Oil needs the State to exist. People are ready to go off oil NOW. Transition at least. Just thoughts.

  • @covellz The key is not to think outside one box and then just immediately jump into another. I hear that in this future world "Opinions don't matter" because the CPU will decide with Scientific Method what to do. Well, the statement "Opinions don't matter" IS an opinion, because I can argue that the term "matter" is subjective and I can demonstrate how opinions COULD "matter". I mean, VP is an opinion! Thus, the statement "Opinions don't matter", taken by its OWN logic actually doesn't matter.

  • @covellz Additionally, it's a fallacy to say that the Scientific Method (SM) would even be the tool to tell us what to do. SM arrives at conclusions to *inform* decisions, not the decisions themselves. PEOPLE take the data and conclusions and decide HOW to implement them. From the SM, you get a Theory. How to employ a Theory is up to some sort of decision making process. Data is just data. Data can tell me which apple is healthier, but I might choose the other, based on taste-- which is HUMAN.
