@1122me0x miss lucas, not peyton, I don't hate her, but I'm team brooke and the writers didn't really focus on Brooke's struggles until Peyton left the show, so I liked that part of season 7 and 8, and I'm happy b/c lucas is returning in season 9!!!! So is Kris Keller, and Dan, but I'm sad b/c Nathan will no longer be a regular on the show :(

@SianMulvenna (Continued) Dan drifts all through season 7 and then in 8 he was a guest star and showed up like twice. I don't want to ruin it, but there is a scene when he talks about his regrets and how he wants to be dead...he even goes as far as asking another character to kill him.

As for Nathan, we don't know why exactly the Character leaves, most likely that he's on the road for his new job, but he isn't a regular, because James didn't want to renew a full time contract :( Sad I know

I love both the Ryan Adams and Tim McGraw versions....this one doesn't come come close to either, sorry. Tim doesn't have the world's best voice, but it goes along with the music a lot better than this and his voice also shows a lot more emotion. Ryan Adams is just great period. You should listen to Blake Lewis' studio version. VERY VERY GOOD, my fave cover of it by far

Just to put an end to this debate: Ryan Adams originally wrote and recorded the song and released it in 2001. The Coors covered it in 2002. It was on One Tree Hill, I believe in 2005, and Tim McGraw covered it (horribly IMHO) in 2006. But as the uploader of the video said, who cares? It's a great song. Enjoy it! :)

Why does it matter who originally did a song? I like this version. If I didn't I wouldn't be listening to it. It's a beautiful song, beautifully done by these two. Should anything else matter?
