  • Ted Haggard has a terrifying looking face.

  • I feel as though the airplane example is misleading. That definitely suggests that there is intent, some sort of intelligence for striving towards an previously imagined goal; flight.

  • And that is the Christian philosophical flaw that has so plagued science for the last 2000 years: That nature has intent. That the heart is meant for pumping blood, or the eye is meant for seeing. No it is not meant for any of this stuff, it just does it. The fact that it contributes to its own survival; its continued existence is the only reason it continues to exist and function as it does with the illusion of intent.

  • It's divine providence that that red bar keeps getting smaller and smaller.

  • 8:11 Hey, why did each ship in The Matrix have one team doing one task. Why not have one person from each ship on each team. This way, if one ship is completely destroyed, you're not screwed. Your plan sucked Morpheus.

  • @AronRa Strange that you use the Matrix with Moriphus saying "this was our fate to be here" to point a person's illogic on fate, even though in a twisted way it was kind of fate. The Machines wanted Neo to be found and made the chosen one to bring about the reboot of the Xion population.

  • AronRa, can you tell me what program was modelling evolution around 3:40? I found it to be fascinating.

  • The principle Fundamentalist Christian "Creationist" issue isn't that they deny that God could have created by means of evolutionary processes but that - by they're reading of the Bible - He wouldn't have. Their view of Salvation History requires that there be no death - at least nohuman or animal death - prior to Adam's Fall, and that all death, disease, deformity, and predation and paracitism are products of the Fall, and thus natural selection would have had nothing to work with.

  • My father just caught me watching this and told me I was going to hell, but that's ok.

I don't even believe in a hell so he can go fuck himself

  • @gradsssara Props brother!

  • @gradsssara Sounds like a horrible dad.

  • Can someone tell me where the clip from 3:22 - 3:41 is from? I've been wanting to watch the whole thing for a while but I can never remember the other guys name to help the search.

  • @RevArto It's a clip from Dawkins documentary 'Root to All Evil?'. That other guy is Ted Haggard.

  • @Sakke00 Awesome. Thank you very much!

  • @RevArto Its Dawkins documentary, The Root of all Evil.

    TPB/torrent/5066986

  • @morrjame8 After the last guy commented I found the rest. Thanks anyways, buddy. I really do appreciate it.

  • 3:28 Haggard is wondering how his dick would taste.

  • co2isgoodal you say creationism is science then quote the Bible.Ughh!! I wish I could make you see how stupid that is, but you are too stupid to understand.

  • 6:07 I spy with my little eye the inspiration for the sub-pods in disneys Atlantis!

  • Why are there fossils left to confuse us? Simple:

Ariel, the archangel and pre-judeo-christian leontomorphic deity figure associated with nature and beasts and later fallen angel left them scattered around the earth to mess with us as revenge for the defeat he suffered at the hands of Abdiel. Ariel (Auriel) is often associated with Uriel, the archangel known for subtlety, who warned Noah about the flood (coincidence). Uriel of course was written off by Pope Zachary. It's all coming together....

  • 3:30 Father Ted has trouble imagining how something as wonderful as a cock, could have ended up in his ass "by accident"...

  • SCIENCE RULES!!!!

  • What is the program at 4:06????

  • 2:20

    cos x = 3 for x approx. -1.762747i

  • @vytah No, the cos x can never equal 3, it is a simple fact. Retake pre-calculus.

  • It is sad that most Christians and many in other religions believe in the greek philisophical idea of fate. Or that everything happens for a reason. That if something happens that God didn't plan or know was going to happen then He couldn't be God. That was Aristoles belief and sadly it and the Classics were taught in seminaries for centuries and thus pagan greek philosophy creep in to bibical theology when the bible doesn't say that at all. Thus while a popular belief it is not biblical.

  • Creation Science is actual Science. The evolution myth has been debunked over and over again.

Abiogenesis and complexity of cells proves this.

Evolution is the only "scientific theory" that needs laws to protect it!"

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked"

    Galatians 6:7

"You turn things upside down, as if the potter were thought to be like the clay! Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, "He did not make me"? Can the pot say of the potter, "He knows nothing"?"

    Isaiah 29:16

  • @co2isgoodal

I didn't even need to read what you wrote. I just looked at your screen name and concluded you must be either mentally retarded or a Christian. The terms are interchangeable.

  • @co2isgoodal -- are you in possession of any pro-creationism evidence since the Dover trial that we should evaluate?

  • You atheists make me laugh. You deny god, make videos poking fun of him, and pretending how rational you all are. Well the Bible predicts people like you.

But you can leave your wicked ways and turn back to Jesus before he returns...7.pm Eastern Time on Fox.

  • @AziMeX WOW, that book actually predicted that some people would not believe the incredible, unproven claims within it... Impressive... Now if only it could explain why so many of his children in the world fail at his test and how this is not the fault of the test itself but ALL of the individuals. See f almost ALL the children in a class fail the test, maybe the test is a bit hard, especially if there's no way for them to KNOW the answer. So eternal torture here i come ;) .... whiii.

  • @AziMeX "i believe in a fairy in the sky that has no evidence supporting it! oohh my book predicts people will disagree with it! You scientists who base your life on logic try to pretend how rational you are and its stupid!" hhmm... it pains me to see someone throw away education and intelligence for a disproven "god"

  • @mrsupa444

It pains me to see someone who can't comprehend sarcasm drenched statements.

  • @AziMeX I don't think it is wise to use sarcasm here. everything these creationists say seems like sarcasm, so how am i supposed to tell the difference?

  • Its' really creepy the level of Adaptation natural selection goes through. I believe in deities (Polytheist ) Yet the level of adaption of NS is crazy its like its "aware" but its not a being its process, which just screws with my brain. It's not random feature of nature.

  • @ozredneck22 As a kid, I never got out of that stage of never stopping asking questions, I look back to it and am so glad I never brokethat habit. Asking questions is a great bullshit insulator, and anything that can't answer them or requires selective prevonceived notions rarely gives good reason to believe it. So I am absolutely against a concept in which ignorance and gullibility are virtues.

  • @ozredneck22

I guess you didn't see the 2nd FFoC.

"Doubting His word will be the downfall of man."

Strange, seeing as we have no clue what the word of God IS? The Bible clearly isn't, as no deity worth worshiping would write something so ignorant, bigoted, and hateful.

  • @ozredneck22 I have had thousands of discussions on this topic with creationists, and yes they do commonly insist that God could do anything he wants, but go on to say how 'impossible' they insist evolution is. Your problem is that you've taken the fables of mere fallable humans and mistaken them for the 'word of God'.

  • @AronRa

Aron, would you say this is correct when it comes to many evolution-denying theist?

Many thiests deny evolution because it conflicts with genesis.

if there is no genesis, then there is no adam and eve.

if there is no adam and eve there is no origional sin

if there is no original sin, then there is no need for god to be mad

if there is no angry god, then there is no hell.

    no hell means no fear

    no fear means no control.

would you say that is correct?

  • @Mikeybetts

It's much more simple and banal than that.

Creationists think evolution conflicts with their interpretation of their holy text. They worship their text AS their deity and thus they feel that if their text is somehow errant at any point, then their deity cannot exist.

  • @Mikeybetts I don't agree with that because I don't see where fear is eliminated nor control implied.

  • @AronRa

without original sin then there is no "vengeful god" so there would be ne risk of being sent to hell.

that fear of eternal punishment is the very foundation of religious control "do what i say or you'll burn" so without the fear of hell, the very core of organized religion dissapears

  • @Mikeybetts And I don't agree with that just because it involves too many logical steps for an evolution-denying theist to process. *it is a cute sequence though

  • @Eniacbc

see, i dont think a theist can conciously see it either, but subconciously it fuck with them, because it shakes the very foundations of their percieved reality.

  • @Mikeybetts

    not even that

with no original sin, jesus is pointless

don't care if it 'offends' a few con-men and idiots. things aren't true because enough people THINK it is

  • @ozredneck22 Following the ignorant words of an outdated script as fact will be the downfall of man. If man wants to truly move forward, we must drop all of the crooked lies put forward by a bunch of con men and cowards.

  • @ozredneck22 *facepalm* you need education, not superstition, man.

  • @ozredneck22 So after logically destroying creationism with evidence and logic, your best rebuttal is his take on God controlling evolution as opposed to what God SAID? That has got to be the most pitiful rebuttal I have ever read. Thanks for writing in. It just underlines once again how illogical creationists can be while clinging to their iron age mythology and how religion pollutes the mind.

  • @ozredneck22 Really? How do you know that? How do you know the will of God? What do you think of the high likelihood that there are thousands of Christians who don't think the same way you do? How do you account for this divergence? How is it that even two Christians can believe things about God that contradict each other?

  • @Steenhorst "Really? How do you know that?"

    .

If I have said something that is not true then point it out.

  • @ozredneck22

    All you post is BS

    Easy one to point out

  • @sonykroket Well if it is so easy then answer the post below your one (to Steenhorst)

  • @ozredneck22

    I have an answer

It says youre a fuckin superstitious dumbass

  • @ozredneck22 You already said something false from the very beginning, that this video was a straw-man.

  • @pythor2 it's a strawman because creationists are what they are because of the word of God.

  • @ozredneck22 That is a true statement with evidence to back it up as shown through his Falsehood series.

  • @pythor2 So you agree it's a strawman?

  • @ozredneck22 How did you draw that connection after I explicitly said your first statement was false? Why would I purposefully agree to a false statement?

  • @pythor2 I thought you were replying to my statement but you were replying to you're own statement. The strawman goes like this 1) Creationists insist God could do anything 2) God could have created with evolution 3) Creationists should believe in evolution because God could have done it that way.

  • @ozredneck22 How did you get a should from a could? Reword the 3rd point to say "could" instead of "should" and you got a logical statement that this video thoroughly analyzes, and hence, your straw-man fallacy persecution turns nonexistent.

  • @ozredneck22

    1) Creationists are morons

    2) Creationist are morons

    3) Creationists really are morons

    It's very simple, you see

    Do the math, biblemuppet

  • I've heard of arguments that "Creationism" does not mean magic or supernatural. But the problem with that argument for me is that it would eventually lead to the whole "A higher power that we can't identify planned on creating us all".

Thankfully with science we may not know all the answers now but also don't just label what we can't answer with the label of "God dun it".

  • @onesweetasuzy No, god gives people cancer because he hates them. Isn't that something your momma taught you? Just like he makes lots of people get born in environments where they'll starve to death, or creates something like Sickle Cell anemia and Malaria to punish the people of the planet for any old reason, like not paying enough to churches.

Really, the logic you people have of 'loving god' is laughable--what 'loving' god allows people to suffer?

  • Yea...Signs pissed me off...Thanks for the reminder of that AronRa

  • @b33p3rz Nothing ticks me off like a hollywood Atheist. All Hollywood Atheists are, are people 'angry at god' and all they need is some vague form of proof, like a shadow in the shape of a cross, or a $5 bill on the ground, and boom! They believe again! Unfortunately most xtians are only exposed to Hollywood Atheists and think that converting us(who are IRL atheists) to their religion is just a swaggering authoritative "I'll pray for you." away.

  • @NenonaFire This is very nicely put, thanks for the comment,Nenona

  • @onesweetasuzy its ok. im sorry for flipping out on you like that.i suppose it is a bit unreasonable of me to expect you to know that without telling you outright. i have been prayed for and it hasnt helped.in fact at one point i almost died. it isnt prayer keeping me alive nor is it god its the hardworking doctors and nurses and my own willpower.i could explain to you just what i mean but you would have to have been there in person to realy understand

  • @onesweetasuzy that being said there is a reason i dont help people myself. I HAVE FUCKING CANCER YOU TWAT.what the bloddy hell did you think i have been trying to tell you this whole time you insipid fool!!!why else would i hate religion so vehementley!!accepting religion means accepting that your god turned my body into a fucking poisoned shell!! so dont you DARE accuse me of pretending to care about people dieing. i know better than anyone what dissease and starvation do to a human body!!!

  • @onesweetasuzy there is no reason to get mad.though i wish you would answer my questions. even if god works through people he is still doing a poor job. why would he need to work through people if he is all powerfull? also it makes little sence to call me big mouth,im not the one shouting.im simply trying to show you reason.also please dont insult me.i would like it if we could both be mature in this conversation.

  • @onesweetasuzy I'm not old at all, and my heart is just fine.

  • @onesweetasuzy "mmm, actually you do have an enemy, called satan, who has come to kill steal destroy and torment you, but with out JESUS in your life you are SCREWED!" Scare tactics are unconvincing. Would you be afraid if I told you that a shadow-man will come and kill you in the night unless you keep a hawk's feather under your pillow as required by my god? What if I told you I had a book or testimony from people that described instances of when this shadow man had done such things?

  • @onesweetasuzy Oh yes, And love is in the brain. The heart pumps blood to the rest of the body. it is muscle tissue with plumbing and valves. It has nothing to do with emotions. Emotions, thoughts, feelings, perception all reside in the brain. Again, another perfect example of how a religious belief system pollutes the process of acquiring knowledge of how the universe works. You think love is in the heart LITERALLY? You may as well believe that love resides in your left kneecap.

  • @onesweetasuzy Nope!! You bible thumping Jesus freaks think that your stories of the magic man in the sky gives you some monopoly on love, morality and happiness. You consciously reject science in order to gain your mythical God points. But that is more religious mythology. Unlike your prejudices, we who do not believe in your magic man talk, still feel joy, wonder, love, morality, sense of family, community, and compassion. I still love my wife, kids and puppy, just not your myths.

  • @onesweetasuzy so god will send me to hell for not believing in him even if im a good person? will he allow a person into heavan who was a mass murderer if he repents on his deathbed? and for that matter why are you defending your religion so furiousley. what has it gotten you in life-and i dont mean things like faith and salvation. faith doesnt pay your bills nor feed the kids. if god is so loving why are people dieing of starvation in africa even as im typing this. please...open your eyes.

  • @onesweetasuzy that my suffering is due to chance rather than some spitefull divine being screwing my life over because it gives him lulz.

  • @onesweetasuzy ive tried turning to god. in the very beginning i was a christian and a devoted one at that. then when it began i asked god to help me,to show me how i can end it.he didnt help. not only did he not help it just got worst and worst and worst. it was here that i decided that god clearley doesnt care about my soul. a few weeks after i decided this i began to doubt gods existence at all son i opened my eyes to the truth-there is no one there.i actuley feel happier now that i know

  • @onesweetasuzy You understand that we don't believe any of the ridiculous claims in your holy book, right? Quoting bible verses is as useless as me quoting the Koran to you. You claim to know a lot about god, what he wants, what his desires are, how much he loves people. No matter how much an anonymous person writes me letters telling me how much they should love them, I will NOT 'love' them back until they show me their face and actually interact with me. Imaginary friends are for children.

  • @onesweetasuzy im sorry but i simply cant live my life by a book that is full of contradictions and impossibilities. i know you mean well but the fact of the matter is that all evidence points to one undeniable truth. there is no god. i would like to believe that there is someone watching over me and that all of the suffering of humanity is for a reason but i just cant, especially when my own life has been plagued by both mental and physical torture.

  • @onesweetasuzy Your religion is nothing more that a childish story meant to keep you feeding your church with money. It is just a security blanket for the gullible. It goes against science, physics and other peoples religions. It is just Santa and Easter bunny stories. Science reveals reality as it is . Religion makes shit up and insists on belief. I am happy to reject your false belief systems.

  • Hearts don't think, Brains think. You are simply delusional. Religion is poison for knowledge. You are perfect example. You probably don't accept the actual age of the universe, age of earth, evolution, or global warming. Instead you believe in a magic man in the sky who poofed fully formed ecosystems instantly from nothing, hears your thoughts, judges you, but allows millions of starving children to die. God's biggest concern is that you believe in him irrespective of evidence. Bullshit.

  • @coolgreyoneabby And unlike what you read in the Bible, brains do your feeling too. The heart being the center for emotion was a bronze and iron age mentality that was disproved centuries ago.

  • @ADADEL1 Yup that is what I said too, you may have meant to send this to Onesweetasuzy. Onesweetasuzy is very confused about how nature works.

  • @coolgreyoneabby Sorry about that. My mistake.

  • @onesweetasuzy whats that supposed to mean?dont you religious folk reguard us as "the scum of the earth who will all burn for our "heracy""?

  • @onesweetasuzy There have been thousands of religions, yours is only one of them. Your religion is no different. I look at your religion the exact same way you look at Greek Mythology. You're not worried about offending Posieden on a boat trip. If someone threatened you to sacrifice a goat before every nautical voyage or HE WILL PULL YOU INTO A COLD WATERY GRAVE!!!!, Saying he was just trying to "SAVE" you, You would rightfully ignore him. Same for you. You are exactly as misguided.

  • @onesweetasuzy And Thank God (intentional irony) that people like AronRa and many others work to keep the wicked like you out of our kids science classes. Thank Goodness there people who work to keep some sanity in this world. We need more people who recognize that you and your kind are simply bat shit crazy.

  • @onesweetasuzy yes i am proud that i believe in logic and science rather than a magical sky daddy

  • @onesweetasuzy See top comment above. Still hold true. Shame on you for telling immoral lies to children to scare them into your delusional mind control games. Shame on you for telling children they will go to hell if they do not follow your made up doctrines. Shame on you for believing that your religion out of thousands is the only path to salvation. Shame on you for threatening others who don't see through your bullshit with eternal damnation. Shame on you for pushing scientific ignorance.

  • @onesweetasuzy if your book of fary tails is the truth then i prefer living a lie.you are an arrogent, self rightious fool who will do anything to protect his ego.

  • Could you link me to the video or program from 3:45 to 4:45?

  • @onesweetasuzy Funny how all the religious nuts spit BS when confronted with reason...

  • @onesweetasuzy As ever the religious fanatic quotes chapter and verse as though it is accepted as the final word on the matter. Get this; I don't care what it say's in the bible(or the qu'ran for that matter). No stumbling there...

  • @onesweetasuzy Fools and fanatics are always so certain whilst wiser people are full of doubts...

  • @onesweetasuzy

Again, only the creationists say the universe came from nothing. Actual science does not.

And I have a book right here calling all fundies complete retards who can only be called human because they are genetically human, mentally they are that of a fly.

    Lol so true! _I_

  • @onesweetasuzy I already corrected you on your incorrect understanding of the Big Bang and even told you where to look it up, yet you repeat your wrong understanding. THAT is why religion is the poison to understanding. You're the definition of dogmatic religious zealotry. Please keep writing, so we will have more ammunition to keep you religious nutballs out of science class.

  • @onesweetasuzy So answer my question. Do all people not exposed to your religion go to hell? People born in other countries that never "got the message?" They are going to Hell? Tell me. Is that what you believe?

  • @onesweetasuzy

So how stupid are you? Stupid or completely retarded?

  • @onesweetasuzy I will tell your misogynistic, infanticidal, genocidal, racist, homophobic etc, etc god of bullshit that i used the brain that he gave me and used logic and reason to dictate ALL the decisions in my life. Too bad you didn't use yours for the most important questions. Maybe more people like you could actually take up the challenge and ask god to heal you instead of relying on science. You see god quicker and we can evolve out of the bronze age.

  • @onesweetasuzy Shame on both you AND God. Shame on you for using scare tactics to extort people to join your religion. If your religion is right, (which I do not believe) then shame on God for punishing those who did not get exposed to YOUR religion and were exposed to some other religion and burn for eternity? Shame on God for allowing thousands of religions over time and distance where just one ( yours?) is the only path to salvation. If I see God I'll tell him that too.

  • @onesweetasuzy I already know where I will spend eternity. I will be in exactly the same state as I was for the billions of years before I was born, I just did not exist. Didn't bother me for the first 14.8 billion years, so it won't bother me for the remainder of eternity. It is your delusion of heaven and hell. Hell is just a man made construct to scare people into religious conformity. I say Bullshit and shame on you.

  • @onesweetasuzy I'm serious too! I'll agree to never call on Jesus in my time of need and you agree to never use a doctor in yours. You pray and I'll go to the doctor. If you are really serious and you believe as strongly as you do, you would have no problem taking me up on my deal. Otherwise, you are a hypocrite.

  • @onesweetasuzy You are so funny. Trying to scare people with imaginary bullshit when we don't believe it to begin with! I'll make you a deal, I will not call for the help of Jesus in my time of need, and you do not see a doctor or go to the hospital for any health issues. Just pray to Jesus, he can help you out. Remember, he is all powerful. You stick with Jesus and I'll go see a doctor. Deal?

  • @onesweetasuzy No, wonder you reject cosmology You don't understand even the most basic principals. The big bang theory is not something from nothing at all. The Big Bang theory states that all the energy and mass started at one place and time. Look it up! Wiki has it. That would mean extremity HIGH density of energy/mass. Which would be about as far from "nothing" as you can get. Just a little homework on your part would be advisable. You do your cause no good with ignorance that basic.

  • @onesweetasuzy The reason that extraterrestrials are more accepted than God is simple. As an atheist, we accept the possibility of natural biological accession where biology can exist because we have seen it happen on this one example: Earth. Since there are so many stars and potential planets, there is no reason to believe it could not happen again. God is he myth of an omnipotent being who is able to poof fully functional ecosystems into place by magic. Something from nothing. impossible.

  • @onesweetasuzy I do not believe a book written by iron age superstitious men has any relevance whatsoever, so therefore I don't give three poops what the bible says about anything. To me, it is just a work of 100% fiction and I don't worry about the ramifications any more than you worry about not sacrificing sheep to Poseidon before you go on a nautical journey.

  • @onesweetasuzy I have. It is called Cosmology. Look it up in Wikipedia and read that.

  • To me it sounds rationally that everything is preterminated because every decision derives from heredity and circumstances. And if these things are a certain way, the subject simply can´t act differently because he doesn´t want to. Will comes to us we don´t create it. E.g. the will to eat comes from hunger or from appetite or the provoked want to prove that one can also eat without being hungry or have appetite but anyway: it comes from somewhere else than our inner mind.

  • @VitoPossilipo You just contradicted yourself

  • @Huttate1 How far? My will to post the comment above came from the constitution of my psyche, my experiences and from there that I´ve watched this video. So it had been different things than my conciousness what lead to my decision.

  • @VitoPossilipo And if you had decided not to comment - where would that have come from?

  • @Huttate1 Also from the circumstances. But apparently they hadn´t been that way that I decided not to comment.

  • @VitoPossilipo

I agree that most things can be determined in a closed system, but in an open system there are variables that can't be accounted for.

Part of human nature is unpredictability...the ability even to defy the Nash equilibrium at times. Psychology is not a hard science for this reason.

  • I'm pretty sure cos(th) = 3 when th = +- 1.7627471740391i

  • Is my understanding correct that you a palaeontologist of some degree?

  • @Kabitu1 It was an aspiration, but life went live on me and changed all my plans.

  • 2:36

What documentary is that from? I remember watching it a while back.

  • @zelos88 you missed the + 2 n pi:

    cosine theta = 3 ==> theta ~= 1.76275 i + 2 n pi for n an integer

  • Great job, does this series come in a book form?

  • When you talk about the perfect form of an environmental niche, would the bipedal humanoid form also be considered a useful evolutionary motif?

  • If you consider the Creator as an artist rather than an engineer. That

would explain the appearance and extinction of so many living things.

Like an author who writes and re-writes a story sometimes. Even when He

makes the last changes and goes on to another project any artistic genius

will look back on something complete and decide that it could have been improved.

Our reality is not perfect, it is a work in progress.

  • @jossalv1 well that's poetic, but where's your proof

  • @SolarGrooving Can you prove the scientific method scientifically? If not, how come you believe it?

  • @jossalv1 what do you mean, prove it exists? or prove it works? the scientific method is a way of finding out facts, its a logical system

  • @SolarGrooving You say that the scientific method is proven by logic.Give me an example of

a logical proof that the scientific method is the (only) way to find out facts. What about deductive,

or inductive reasoning? What about proof in courts based on ''circumstantial' evidence. You do

realize people have been executed for murder, without a body being found?

  • @jossalv1

"What about deductive, or inductive reasoning?"

Both have weaknesses (exceptions to the rules), and the scientific method has criteria that prevents these from surfacing.

"What about proof in courts based on ''circumstantial' evidence."

The judicial system is not science. Burden of proof is much, much, much different.

"You do realize people have been executed for murder, without a body being found?"

Out of curiosity, can you prove this?

  • @jossalv1 didn't say it's be proven by logic, it exists, go look it up, it's a set of logical steps in the search for facts, deductive reasoning starts with true statements and then go from there (if X is true, then Y). This works for things like maths, not finding out how the world works, cos if your starting assumption is wrong, you get nowhere The scientific method IS inductive reasoning. Start with no assumptions, develop a hypothesis and test it, finding the facts.

  • So god wanted me to become an atheist.

  • Teilhard de Chardin (catholic mystic though he was) thought that evolution was not so much about survival of the fittest but that evolution occurs in a directional, goal driven way, argued in terms that today go under the banner of convergent evolution.(wikipedia).

creationsist cannot allow for their weird bile based theories to be wrong because then they will have denied god

  • Anyone who has problems with the plausibility of elements coming together in complex ways should read about conditional probability and Markov chains.

  • Aron Ra, you sir, are my hero.

  • I am again and again amazed and stunned at what emergent simulations can demonstrate. If you want to learn more about how stunning and delicate order can emerge from chaos, check out the BBC's Secret Life of Chaos documentary. The demonstration with the flame on the projector blew my mind.

  • what is the program at 4:00?

  • What movie is it @2:08, the part where the dapper looking older dude says "There are no accidents"? Great series, by the way. Thank you for posting these!

  • @PaladinHero The scene at 2:08 was taken from 'Naked Lunch'.

  • @AronRa Awesome, AronRa, thank you! I've heard of it but never seen it. Thank you again for this series!

  • @AronRa You made me want to go and re watch Hot Fuzz. You have a good taste in films.

  • If christians were smart, they would accept evolution and give their god the credit of setting the conditions for evolution, which is creation as well. But of course if christians were smart, they wouldn't be christians in the first place ;-)

  • 3:30 = dawkins taking off the f**king gauntlets!

  • Where's that vid of Dawkins talking to that douchebag evangelical from?

  • The computer models you mentioned, are there videos of those posted anywhere? I am very interested in seeing them.

  • Aronra.....i have no idea how you talk so fast, but everything you say is so true, i love it

  • I really wish the upload limit was 15 minutes back when you were making these videos. I want MORE.

  • I love Dawkins fit about the eye evolving. He's so British.

  • @snakeguy76 I don't know how he kept his temper!

  • How do you explain the ability of human to reproduce. The "miracle" of birth. The symmetrical of creation as in our hands, foot and etc be in pair?

  • @azrinsani "How do you explain the ability of human to reproduce. The "miracle" of birth. The symmetrical of creation as in our hands, foot and etc be in pair?"

I bet if you tell me what part of the world you live in, that I could guess how YOU explain the miracle of birth. A better question would be, if you don't understand human reproduction, why make something up? I don't understand how something as beautiful as childbirth is possible, therefore Santa, Allah or Jesus musta done it.

  • @cvanunen That's a really good question. That's what I like about atheists (and Dawkins). They are logical and not trying to kill people for no reasons

For us muslims, the bridge to that question is the Quran miracles. But then again, all the extremist fanatics keep giving Islam a bad name. The only was to disprove Islam is to associate it with Muslims.

  • @azrinsani In fact, symmetry emerged a long, long time ago. Notice how organisms such as worms are symmetrical along the length of their bodies? Just about every animal you can see has that characteristic. Humans are no different - we evolved from earlier forms just as symmetrical. As for the ''miracle'' of birth, keep in mind that reproduction is THE most ancient characteristic of living beings. Reproduction is the driving force of life and evolution.

  • A quantum computer can calculate to infinity then send the results back to itself a fraction of a second after the question was asked. This seems like instant answers.Every person has a lifespan. The same exact "computer" "god" or "whatever" can seemingly be involved in many lives at the same time. To itself it seems one at a time.

  • Not to want to bitch, but why does this video say on my iphone: "The author of this video does not allow playback in iPhone"?

  • @seweso I have no idea how that happened. But I fixed it.

  • @AronRa Can't explain it? So God did it!!!
