Beautifully played, Francesco. Your legatos are powerful and precise. I have not heard this piece previously and I thank you for introducing it to my ears. I will listen to it again as I enjoy a very fine Cabernet (it is 05:00 here, but it is okay to have wine as I am retired :)). To me, music and a glass of wine are perfect for watching the sunrise (also the sunset, the full moon, half moon.....)
And Cabernet is a very fine choice, even at 05:00!
Btw, this piece is one of my favourite Scarlatti pieces, as I really like the harpsichord and its huge repertoire: I am really in love with it's sound and it's repertoire.....whenever I am free and I feel to listen to baroque music, I use to have some kind of 2-3 hours of harpsichord repertoire's listening..... very, very nice feeling!!!!
Francesco, I have long thought that the angels must surely play Scarlatti and now I am sure of it for this is truly an angelic performance of his 'Aria'.
BTW, I assume since you made this a response to her 'Storm' that you are a fan as am I. I also love her rendition of 'Devils Trill', and have a small playlist with some of her performances.
Well, yes, I like that kind of classical fusion made by artists like Vanessa Mae! I mean, as a classical player, I usually prefer the original classical music.....but actually, it's nice to hear that kind of performances: ishe makes really nice shows and she plays very well !!! :-D
I am so jealous of your camera for listening to your playing live! =cD
Scarlatti is indeed a notable composer, I do agree with Chopin (one of, if not the very favorite of mine) his music is heart taking, making you want to listen to it over and over again!
Well, I sometimes write something, but I really want to think twice about putting some music of mine on YT....there is so much good music, that I don't want to add something not worthed to listen to!!! :-P
@TetecaGuitar Not worthy? You've got to be joking!! It is hard for me to believe that an excellent player such as yourself wouldn't compose music matching his evident sensibility for choosing good pieces to post on ytb! I am very much curious to hear from your compositions =cD

Do you personally, by any chance, compose?
