  • the white one is very naugthy!!!!hahahahah

  • how these tiny things create this big soung how?from where come out

  • @captnmorshu I wonder why the dad attacked them

  • I also had baby finches but the father attacked them, so we put him in another cage. The baby finches are now grown up and have babies :D

  • LOLOLO ramekin.

  • so cute!.. hope you dont mind answering a question :)

how long should zebra finches be sitting on the babies for? My parents were sitting on them constantly, but now (around days 8-10) they somtimes both stay out of the nest for a period of time, then sometimes one will randomly go sit in the nest for a bit. They are both still feeding the babies well. Should I be concerned they arent sitting on them more often like they used to?

  • @JennaRaine it's totally normal, as the babies get older they get better able to regulate their own temperature and require less sitting on by the parents, also many chicks produce a certain amount of thier own heat, so larger clutches require less sitting time.

  • after they male and female breed how long until they lay eggs and how long until teh baby can fly after haching

  • If the female finch is ready then you should see eggs the next day and they will mate through out the laying process. takes about a month and a half to fully fledge after hatching .

  • thank also one more question my female has only one orange feather in her left cheek, JUST ONE. woulddat be considering hera male or can a female finch have an orange chee. well one feather at least

  • sounds like you may have some genes mixed in from the pied mutation. doesn't mean anything except that some babies may be multi colored.

  • how long does it take for an egg to hatch?

also do you know what the problem when a female finch wont lay egg i had her for 3 year

  • for zebra finches about 14 days to hatch, some finches wont lay unless diet is just right or if there no nesting place or they are stimulated by a male.

  • So cute. Are they people friendly as adults, or are they just as scared as parent raised finches?

  • they remain friendly if handeled regularly

  • ale maluteńkie :)

  • this are really cute i remember when our finches had their babys one came out really weird lol it has like alot of feathers on top of his head it looks like he has hair lol

  • I never pull babies from parent zebra finches let themself feeding babies never problem smile

  • Reading the description you would know that these were orphaned, I don't hand raise finches unless it's necessary to save the birds life.

  • Yeah I save babies how put foster zebra finches never problem few mom died or flew away take babies gave to foster parent never problem save babies wow

  • is it warm in that thing for them?

  • that "thing" is just a porcelain bowl the whole bowl is set in a brooder that has a carefully controlled heating and humidity element.

  • when they grow bigger you don't see the crop anymore?

  • they always have a crop it is just more hidden by featherswhen older and they tend to not fill it up as full as adults..

  • Very tiny little birds. Please keep us updated on their progress.

  • That was very cute I like them..

  • oh my gosh how tiny they are!! how often do you have to feed them? do you feed them around the clock?

  • yes the smallest ones are every 2 hrs, the rest get fed when the crop is almost empty .

  • cool video
