Great work.. this was the last time the Daleks were at their best in the new series so its a great celebration of that. Remember, Daleks could destroy Borg, Cylons and all those second rate villains!

I completly agree with you there Thregar , Borg , Cylons and many other Villians are second rate , there's nothing more evil in TV and Film history then the Daleks , and i hope that when there creator Davros finally does return in Doctor Who Series Four then i hope he will create a new Dalek Race to ensure that new Dalek storys are made for future generations of Doctor Who fans to love and fear ! .

They"re called ROBOTS, ALIENS, MACHANICIAL MEN, A RACE, and varios other thing throughout the Doctor Who series.

Davros himself calls them robots more than once. MPT showed the episode where the daleks are fighting a race of robots called the Mubellions. Davro's & Baker were discussing how two ROBOT RACES needed a human controller to break a checkmated war.

The origial idea was to make a robot Ein Soph (I'm probably misspelling it something awful as I'm not into the Cabala). That's a Jungarian achetype diety, with all the emotions or erelations to mankind removed. I think, anyway the pepper-pot bots remind me of what I imagine the Ein Soph is like if this occult stuff is true.

Strange because from the documentarys on classic Who DVDs that I have seen state the inspiration behind the Daleks where Terry Nations (the creatures real life creator) fears of the Nazi's.

They obviously espoused Hitlerite ideals. The cybermen were like communist, the daleks like nazi's. Terry Nation and Rod Serling seem to have discovered that they could make a robot or a martian say stuff they never could a human without the censor squishing them.
