he produced some great poetry but generation y, z whatever don't need anyone to speak for them, esp when the words of one of the greatest poetic talents sound like this. bukowski was ugliness wrapped in beauty wrapped in more ugliness. he poetry may be deep but his real substance is obliterated here.

Who dosent lock ol chuck? He was always that way and by the time he was famous he HAD to be that way! more people of wealth should follow his example and kick the dog shit out of people who try to use them. That said, he was a brilliant poet and his novels are amazing too! I'd buy his paintings but only because i could say "charles bukowski fucking touched this!"

I was just commenting on the indignant comments about what a louse Bukowski was for his bad display. However I said that while physical violence is ugly the emotional, spiritual, and other kinds of verbal violence a woman can inflict on a man is often much worse.
This is why in the old days cops just didnt get involved they knew sometimes a woman earned it.
