Thank you for sharing this with me. Rodney Gilfry is among my favorite singers. He performs this superbly and few men can trill so well.

Mozart's (?) decision to replace this bravura gem with the throwaway soundbyte "Non siate ritrosi" will always be one of opera's great mysteries.

@KatherineXIX I think it's because it follows a long aria ("Come Scoglio") and comes right before another long aria ("Un Aura Amorosa") and Mozart probably figured that three long, static arias in a row would slow down the opera.

What do you mean, better aria? Better than Non siate ritrosi? Certo, but if the maestra has decided ainsi...
Better aria :) But I do like the trio.
