There's another nice trick where you can place sarge directly behind the tower model. When they try to attack your sarge, thay will only be able to click on the tower while sarge blasts away :)

Also, you can use T to position your sarge where ever you want. And when you shoot at a building\unit, don't aim on it, press S and let sarge auto attack it because once enemy sarge\any other unit will come, your sarge will auto attack him before he does.
