my 03 500 has the same exhaust with a spark arrestor, ac nerfs, ac bumper, a whip flag and -fuck i cant rerember the brand- paddles. and stock suspension but i have mine sitting as low as it will go. ive owned a few raptors and even 450s up dumonts comp and thru the whoops on it :D but thts probly cuz im 14 and only weigh like 120 xD but yea. id like to have an ltr 450 tho. i rode one once and honestly that bike was damn beautiful!

the old models are crap srry to say but i have a 2006 predator troy lee with the same exhaust and suspension and k&n filter and it has over rev/cdi box it goes around 90- 97 mph. i would upload a video or something but my internet is crap. id show u me in action on it and it only gots five hours on it and i already am fully confident with it.

I have nothing against predators, i have a 2003 predator 500 that has a white brothers pipe with a k&n drop in air filter and a cdi/rev box and is jetted . i had it at top speed today at 83.4mph.

you think yours is so fast and everything well 90-97 is a big range for topspeed.

hey i have an 03 preddy too and i love it. but i got a ? is urs cold blooded? like mine ill start it up and itll stall after a min then i gotta let it sit for 2 mins b4 restarting it and then it usually does the same thing 1 more time then it runs like a dream.

If i try to start it b4 the 2 mins it wont start it just turns the motor over and nuthin happens

yeah this happened to me and i had no idea what was wrong with it so i brought it to the dealer for them to fix it coz i figured it was some electrical shit and im not familiar with that and it ended up being the rectifier/regulator. you can get one used or online cheap for like $30. i ended up paying $300 at the dealer because they SUCK. DONT EVER BRING IT TO THE DEALER!

@2220rideri can pull any flaw out of any ATV. i was best best buds with a dude who ran an ATV shop and sold honda yamaha and polaris. and what ive found is that not one brand is better. certain models have more or less problems. i personally think polariseseseses are good but no matter the brand, if it runs, take care of it and they will rock. :)

u must have never ridden one, i have a 2006 predator and it destroys the raptor 660 in a drag race, ive also beat trx450 and bombardier ds650 , the pred really is an underrated quad

The 660 is a worse quad than the Predaterd, I'll give you that. Just because you beat some faster/better quads doesn't prove anything. On ANY quad a drag race is about 75% driver and anyone can lose once in a while.

And they are NOT underrated quads. If anything they are OVERrated by the few unfortunate people that bought one and foolishly try and back it up for fear of reality.

in my opinion 06 is best year, its all red plastic looks nice, has reverse, fox supspension, its what i have and i have had no problems and i run it pretty hard, and its a fast machine still drives like its brand new to this day

predators don't come with a hydraulic clutch. it's just a magura lever. hydraulic clutches don't use cables, they use a hydraulic line and a hydraulic ram. cable operated clutches use a cable. that's what comes on predators.

hey nice machine. I have an 03 also. do your tie rod ends go bad alot Ive already gone threw 3. one on the right and 2 on the left. I love the quad when it works, but it has a hard time starting sometimes and the batt dies fast. and the bat is only 6 months old. just wondering what your experiences have been.
