In an effort to see other high school productions of Cats, I found your video. Skimbleshanks is my favorite song and you did great!! My former high school is doing Cats this year and I just have to say I'm glad I'm not there anymore. LOVE the show but could never put up with doing it. :) Nicely done.

Dunno if I could due to my low stamina, but I would TRY my HARDEST. I L-O-V-E CATS. For the most part, if you had asked me to sing the musical BACKWARDS and then FORWARDS, I WOULD DO IT. What got me hooked when I first saw it was the fact that it was about kitties and the costumes were just AMAZING. And being a cat-lover, a music-lover, and a fur-lover (yeah, FURRIES.), I DIED of happiness when I saw it for the first time...

@CosplayCore I'd love to this musical too, I think I could pull of Skimble or one of the male cats, even though I am female...maybe Bomba too...but my school isn't awesome enough to put Cats on, even though I can teach them how to make the costumes!!! :( haha, I've loved it since I first saw it too...sorry, the reason I actually wanted to comment on yours is I saw FURRIES...that was put up on a projector screen when me and some friends did cats as a Cosplay :P

Do you go to a private arts high school or something? I can't imagine a huge school doing this show. I would love it if my high school did this, but my high school is slightly too big. I know you can stretch the size of the cast a bit, but my director likes to have casts of 80 people or so.

This was a private school, and although this is more of a college prep, then an arts school, we did have a very fine theatre and music department!

Actually he sounds FRIGHTENINGLY similar to Geoffery Garrat (the guy that PLAYED, not sang as Skimble in the Cats movie) A very poshy british like accent, dont know if this was done on purpose or not but its still great none-the-less.

It's great, but you drag the tempo just a bit and your diction could be a little sharper and cleaner. But this is a really difficult show so props to your high school for doing it so well :) Just some constructive criticism. Good job overall.

No, it's all me singing, and we have a live orchestra playing as well. We never used audio recordings for our musicals!

Are you asking if I had lessons before the vid or after the vid? Well, I'll just answer both. Before this vid was taken, I had a lot of choir, but no professional lessions. After I graduated, and went to college, I did take private voice as a class for my music theatre major. I haven't had any lessons though, for about a year now.
