  • I learned of this dish through my Palestinian friends, but my way differ a bit but is delicious none-the-less :)

Using, eggplant, potatoes, cauliflower, lamb shanks and lamb chops and rice. Everything is left to its prep in order to be awesome. Vegetables are deep fried, rice is coated with spice and a little oil, meat is seared, dish is layered upon assembly, covered with stock (I am using chicken stock), and then cooked until the rice is done.

    Maklube means "upside down".

  • what Contry is the maklube from? And you use too much oil! I wish some day i do my maklube the Palestinian style. But at least your trying to make a different kind maklube. I wish that i can taste it to see if it is good or not. HAHAHAH, and good luck, keep on cooking! Have a great life!

  • its between Palestinian and lebenese
