  • I'm in Saginaw county. Going to Schuss, Mt. Holly, and Summit this season religiously.

  • Grand Rapids? Small world, lived there for like 12 years. Up in the UP now :p

  • did he say anything about heal or toe drag??? there's more to it than this dude says. must ride a small mtn.

  • he diddnt teach jack sh1t

  • FUCK YOU HATERS it said this guy been doing this for years! morons if he can do it so can other people so just shut the hell up!

  • very nice video! i learned alot and i just did this to my snowboard so im happy :)

  • lmao now that i actually watch the video, you can hear the dude rounding the shit out of those screws. good job dude.

  • @MrAnthonyfilms

The noise your hearing actually sounds like the clutch in the drill which is designed to stop you from stripping screws ;)

  • Is this guy fuckin retarded? Power tools really?

  • Thanks man, ive got some raisers on my snowboard i got when i got it, they give me the shits and weigh heaps, dont get them lol

  • Dude is that a misfits sticker on the back of ur board?

  • You are awesome! just saying :))) screw drivers are LAME

  • WRONGWRONGWRONG.

  • horrible.

  • is 15, -15 a good setup?? it seems like itd be kindof uncomfortable, but then again i wouldnt really know since i havent set up my own snowboard (i just ordered a board and some bindings and am trying to figure out how to set it all up properly) its a 157cm wide board, so would 15, -15 be good for me? size 11 US boots

  • @nirvanafan7777 the position of your binding has nothing to do with ur boot size. i use 15,-15 on my board its 151 CM all you have to do is just make sure that its not too close or too far away from each other and trust me 15,-15 is really comfortable and it makes it alot easier when you ride switch

  • isnt that why they started building boards with a thin layer of some sort of metal... dunno maybe its just carbon fiber, not a leet; thats why im watching this vid :P

  • DONE

  • lol this guy is retarded

  • I run 12, -12

  • Yes, you shouldn't use the electric drill but his snowboard riding tutorials are good

  • lol he said "your stick is ready to shred"

  • @danamezjohn hahahahahaaha lol i watched it again just to hear him say it XD

  • expert village always does stuff wrong

  • I did 15 front and 5 back haven't truer it yet but seem pretty good to me

  • expertvillage, fucking hoes, just sayen

  • why do you not want to use a drill

  • I bough a used Burton Triumph with flow bindings. I like to do stuff myself so I had no problem setting up the board after watching your video. Sorry, I used a #3 phillips "lame" screwdriver to mount the bindings. I did the 15 degree setup for both boots. Love it.

  • Hi my name is Marvin's Penis????????????????

  • lmao power drill, you idiot

  • Ok...who picked this fucking dunce to do an instructional video?

  • omg.., didn't u just rented that snowboard nd ur drillin it?

  • err the power drill can damage the board....

  • guys is it effective to have the back bindings negative 15? i usually have mine just pure straight

  • @nubaddict Depends what you're comfortable with, although it'd be a good idea if you plan on riding switch.

  • Nice vid. Its actually pretty simple... Im a intermediatte-advanced boarder myself and finally able to get a board... Looks like it isnt that hard to setup everything... Thanks again;D

  • i think i herd it go threw the board lol 2:23

  • @pharcyde907 noob?? who the fuck says that

  • what a dumbass using an electric drill to screw down his bindings.

plz people, do just use a simple screw driver

  • Or you can do it the proper way that the pros do, use a screwdriver.

  • or buy a burton and save yourself five hours

  • omg retard

  • Comment removed

  • you sir are a dumbass

  • Done! FTW

  • nice board and video

  • Hey all you morons who post and know nothing about tools. You CAN use a drill!!! Its called a clutch and most drills have them. If your a pro-tech like myself and set boards up all day you certainly need a drill. Set the clutch to 50% and it will speed up your mounting process, and not over-torque the screws.

  • Can you make a video of how to adust the toe binding on a salomon binding?

  • As everyone else said - What. a. TOOL. I'm a beginner and i was looking for some insight into what kind of set up is good for different types of riding etc but instead he taught me nothing. I learned more from other people's comments, as i didn't know about the power tools, so thanks everyone else! :-)

  • this guys is such a tooollll

  • is that like the danger doom board? ^^

  • how many boards have you broken

  • when you rent boards at a snow resort what degrees are the bindings at?

  • U can trust ur dewalt to fuck up your board shit head

  • did he just use a fucking electric drill? dumbass should be taken off "expert village"

  • you can't rape your board like that,

feel sorry for your poor snowboard

  • omg i don't snowboard and I even know you're not supposed to use power tools... you'll strip it!

  • hi guysss ihave question. i wana buy snowboard and idont know what should i get, like what size or what brandd ,bcuse i never had it.can someone help me?o and i saw a roxy snowboard ,its 300$.is it good?

  • @tannazgoogooli ok its better to buy ur first snowboard at a shop where u can size them . but when buying a snowboard when ur beginning make sure that the board is up to ur neck when ur standing up or in that general area. price isnt always something to look at first find a well made board ur still growing i dont recommend an expensive board becuz ull grow out of it and u wont be able to use it anymore . if u have any q's pm me or reply to this comment

  • @tannazgoogooli go to a snowboard shop or zumiez and ask about size to weight ratio. you want a board that you are able to handle. for example lets take 2 people same height, the heavier person ( like 250 lbs) would want a bigger board because of his weight allowing more flex, while a lighter person would want a smaller size board because of his/her ablility to handle the board. so go to your local board shop and ask about the board you are wanting to buy and how big that said board should be =)

  • @tony1sk82r3boi yes i see ... i live in Denmark we got no board shop's here :'(

  • Guys use a regelar Screw driver!!!

A messed up snowboard is LAME...

  • I need help! i want a burton custom, but salomon bindings. will that work? or can u only put burton binding on a burton snowboard?

  • @WeTripOnFlatSurfaces no u can put any binding i believe!

  • u can put every binding on every snowboard!!! :)

  • Unless it is the Burton with the slots... only Burton bindings work (as far as i know) if it has the offset 3 hole setup it will work just turn plates sideways.

  • @spiderduck29 wrong burton most burton boards need est bindings and other snowboards wont work with est

  • @AgainstTheGrind est just came out jackass

  • @WeTripOnFlatSurfaces you will need a burton est binding for the custom

  • LMAO

  • How do you know this 'drill' isn't on a flimsy as fuck torque setting therefore not over tightening the screw? With the correct setting the variable speed drill needn't be to heavy duty for this job surely?

  • honest to god expert village really put more bullshit on the internet more than posting legitimate instructions helping people. NEVER USE A DRILL ON YOUR BOARD!!! only use hand tools. If by any chance you force the bolt you can strip the threads on your bolt or the threading in your board requiring to have to remove and replace the threads. That is only the worst possible case that could happen. The most common is that the bolt drills too far into the board pushing the core into the base....

  • This can be seen by little bulges on the base of your board right under the threading. go to your local board/ski shop and ask questions and feel free to chill at the place with real people. most likely shops have free tuning lesson once in awhile. expertvillage needs to be banned from youtube

  • he totally just fucked up the screws with that drill..what a nob....how do expert village find so many retards

  • OMG he´s like soo hot!! *droowl*

  • How to ruin you brand new snowboard!

    1:13 to 1:42

  • no his not!!

  • u sound affended?

  • this guy is gay

  • Comment removed

  • for those saying don't use power tools..... you'd must have made the mistake of sending the inserts through. You can use a power drill as long as it is set to break at a low torque setting.

  • ya but i personally think that it's safer to use a screw driver

  • Its bad technique tho and this is a how to video teaching noobs who dont know. Use a screwdriver or snow tool. its takes like a couple mins.

  • Did he really just say "hardware this bad lad in." ???

    What a freakin tool bag

  • Do NOT use a power drill

  • @LANDOPERK uummm well you cvan cuz some drills have a noise that tell you when its tightend so in that case is realy doesnt matter...:p

  • @LANDOPERK

    why?

  • @LANDOPERK y not i do

  • @LANDOPERK Why not?

  • @TazakaLOL you will strip the fuck out of the screws. i wish i read that before i used one.

  • this guy is a tool using the wrong tools

  • when i put bindings on my board, i test it, what i do is put my boots in them and then jum like an ollie on a skate board. i do that 3 times and if it doesnt come out of the bindings ur good. cuz i suck when it comes to attqaching bindings

  • i like your board

  • "hardware this bad lad in" best line eva

  • Comment removed

  • dude i go to cannonsburg alll the time!!!!

    thats sooo sick

  • What board ? It's kinda awesome ;D

  • I like how no one explains how to center your boot in the binding so you don't have over hang on either side. And a drill? For real? Not a good video to watch if you actually need to know this stuff.

  • lol i guss its the attachemnt part lol

i just screwed it down where i needed it

its not tht hard to put on bindings

  • got a question: can you mount an old board (without the ics system) with est bindings???

  • @greekproudmacedonian nope est bindings are made for ics boards but the other way around will work

  • yes they sell conversion discs

  • -10 and +15 on the front foot is the best stand

  • * "... my personal best stand"

everybody ride likes he/she feesl comfortable

  • he didn't adjust his highbacks

  • lo i would hate that stance 0 and +15 is better

  • i personaly like -15 and +15

  • ur shredding ur bolts by using the drill

  • way to use a drill jackass.

  • way to use a drill jackass.

  • If your going to be using a drill make sure you don't break the screw.

  • thats the least of your worries. k if u sue a drill and tighten it too much the screws pull up on the bottom and mess it up realy bad.

  • You can tell when the screws are going threw the wood, if they are your a dumbass but normally they don't just go threw the bottom if you tighten them. And the screws are important too because if you break the the notch for the bit then you cant unscrew your bindings.

  • Yeah, it is best to use a normal screwdriver, but you can use a drill on a very low torque setting.

If it's on a low setting the second it hits resistance it'll trip.

  • A drill wow dude i just use a screwdriver i mean who does'nt use a crewdriver

  • He was lucky not to break his board...

  • WARNING do not use a drill.

A normal screwdriver is nog lame if you dont wanne ruin a nice snowboard.

stands duck is freestyle so you can easy ride both directions. (I ride +20,-15)

If you put you back foot a zero degree angle its for one direction it has nothing to do whit confort.

  • I prefer +15 and 0

  • me to

  • WHAT A FUKWIT...USING A DRILL...(do not do this)

  • dude lost all credability as soon as he mentioned drill

  • why the fuck is he using a drill. such a bad idea

  • ya i did that and it striped the screw and when i took the binding off i had to take the other screws off and twist the binding off

  • i know right!

  • Whoa - a little concerned about the powerdrill! You're gonna feel like a douche if you have to take your board in to have a crossthreaded bolt, stripped bolt head or a broken insert fixed. Use a ratchet driver at most - won't take much longer than using a drill, and you can feel when its tight.

  • Can someone please tell me, if lower or higher angle is better for park, atm mine is -21 and +21?

  • Okay well +15 -15 is about normal for park riding so you can ride switch and normal.

  • It would have been nice if you showed how to make sure you get the proper distance between bindings, and why different angles are better for different styles of riding.

  • I'm going for the first time snowboarding tomorrow and I had no idea of what to expect. Thanks for these videos they do help....

  • Don't believe everyone when they talk about how hard it is. Attack it like its easy and you'll pick it up really fast. the first time i went snowboarding I just went all out and was carving on my second run.

  • Yeah I was the same I agree with you. Some people make you scared and say your going to be on your ass all day and it turns you off. Of course you need to know the basic theory of turning and balance first but you you have to get into and not be scare!

  • never usre drills cuz it can drill thro ur board my friend did that and it went thro it

  • Thanx alot bro! That was da most important advice i ever got on youtube.

  • weird yo im 0 all the way around... I ride switch a lot though

  • what does that have to do with anything?im 18 -6 and i ride switch all day if i wanna.binding angle has nothing to do with it, its all personal preference

  • nothing to do with it... I think if you had the bindings going crazy directions it would be difficult to ride switch..

  • i like -9 plus 9 but i used to ride 15 having a bigger angle at your front binding helps you more. i like perfect duckstance cause i'm a tight pants wearing bamf

  • right on yo I changed mine to -9 +9 a few weeks ago.. it's pretty kick ass. I never thought it would improve my riding but it did

  • try tight pants they help too lol

  • DONE

  • im 9 on tha front, 6 on the back

jeenyüs wedge 159 w/ burton custom bindings

    SOOOO SMOOTHE

  • 21 and -21, 23" apart

    capita indoor survival 158cm

    im 5'11"

    feels good man

  • Comment removed

  • wow he uses a drill like a 90 yr old woman!?! wonder how many times he's cross threaded his board's hardware. +15 front -5 back reg.

  • lol

im 12 on the front and 6 on the back

  • mine is 18 and -18 with a super wide stance on a eddie wall by forum...luv it!!

  • yeh but he puts the drill on chuck, so it doesnt keep rotating and slips instead

  • can anyone recommend what i should have my bindings on? i have: 0 (back)- 20 (front). I mostly ride speed and off-piste with occasional small jumps and jibbing and stuff like that, any suggestions? please reply, i'll appreciate it.

  • yo JonniXplosion if u know how to ride faky u would set up 15 15 0r more if u wanna ride like a joey 15 0 and have fun sucking dick call ya drop bitch

  • dude you will strip the threads using a power drill. I would not recomend using power tools on your board :) i am goofy with +15 in front and -9 in back.

  • mine is 15 and -3, i am a regular rider, is that ok

  • I'm left-handed. I put more weight on my left leg. What's the best angle for it?.

  • well I am goofy an my front is 21 and my back is -6... and i think the distance between the bindings (from middle to middle) is 52cm

    ^^ i really like it

  • im goofy so i put my front foot at 15 and back at 0. when theyre both at 15 i feel like a dumbass

  • haha same here. lol

  • A powertool just keeps rotating even when the screw is not placed correctly, you will ruin the thread of the inserts...... The video is fun, but not complete as already mentioned by a lot of people. I don't think this is a very responsible video. I missed, stance width correct stance angle and why highback settings set back or not boot sizes and centering But thats a lot in 2 minutes grtz
  • Al This and not this you can find in the manual of your bindings.... DO NOT USE A POWERTOOL, unless you know how to use it with the regulator..

  • Do not use power tools...highly NOT recommended!!! Don't be lazy like this fool and use your screw driver instead.

  • 15 and -9

  • 30 30??? wow

  • I use 30 - 30 <<< freestyle

  • He should talk about setting angles and different positions of bindings, but learning how to use a screwdriver is idiotic.

  • burton you need 3 hardwear because they got a diffrent layout one some

  • i like 15 and - 15 also

  • most chill position...

  • i would never use a drill, besides, using a screwdriver could tighten the bolts more.

  • what about d forward lean what its the best position to put it

  • Nothing wrong with using drill if you control the torque people...

  • OMFG when he started using the drill I started laughin my ass off, listen to other dont use a drill, takes like 10turns with a screwdriver to get it tight enough...

I have watched a few of his videos since I am not the greatest snowboarder, I am ashamed to say I am from Michigan too now...
