@itsarubiconday Yeah, they zeroed my contract a few months ago. There is only spotty improvement in certain areas of Grandville. I am thinking they just added an evdo channel to one or two of the main towers. It is really strange that their 3G just started to suck out of nowhere end of last year...
@nrinzema The story I got was they were updating the system in W michigan, and it should be way better by the end of March. I will say it has gotten better, but better from the way it was during this video, NOT better than the original service. Now it's going on to the end of April. We'll be leaving Sprint in a couple weeks if it's not up to par. PS you CAN get out of your contract because of the service like this.
hey man im having the exact same problem!!!!i had the LG Optimus..ran sum speed test and was hitting 0.60Mbps-1Mbps...i was going sell the phone so i put it away and went back to my old phone..i only had like 3 days before my 30days was up.i got the phone on my account and did sum more speed test and it was SHIT..didnt really think nuttin of it..i traded and got a EVO got home did speed test's and hit 00.01mbps,the highest i got was 00.11mbps.
sprint is using there 3g icon even for 1xrtt which is really 2.5 g on there 4g phones

Finally i am seeing some real improvement. Today I was able to achieve 500 - 1200 kbps every time I tested my phone throughout the day!

I know this must be frustrating, but look on the bright side, you have a rubicon that can take it anywhere =)
