Τις συγκρίσεις τύπου Σιδηρόπουλος vs Θεοδωράκης τις αφήνω σε όσους δεν καταλαβαίνουν πόσο για γέλια είναι. Αν εσύ θεωρείς "ψευτοκουλτούρα" τη δουλειά ενός από τους πιο αναγνωρισμένους συνθέτες παγκοσμίως, άποψή σου. Αλλά κάπως δύσκολο να βγάλεις μαλάκα όλο τον πλανήτη. Mikis rarely sings, but when he does he expresses the pain impeded in the poetry of Yiannis Ritsos, and as you can see by the reaction of the people in the audience, nobody cares: They love it! We are a nation that has had its share of suffering, that has been through five wars and plus one brutal civil war in this past century alone.
