I swear silence in the library was one of the most critically aclaimed episodes ever. BGT Is pathetic, but talent shows attract greater audiences whatever its against. RTD was nothing to do with that two parter, and Moffat is a great writer. His last season ended with 7 million.

Steven Moffat shares great similarities with the writers of Tom Bakers heyday. Unlike RTD, Moff relies on plot twists and intricate clues throughout a series, instead of emotion and pantomine

THIS is what Doctor Who use to be like. Surprises and twists are what Classic Who was about, aswell as making small objects the stars of nightmares.

Even so, its my own opinion, so don't patronize it as if your opinion is fact.

@JadesVidz Steven Moffat lacks the basic storytelling ingredients and depth that the original writers of the series had. He is not objective in his storytelling and relies on action and surprise, but never backs up the action with a solid plot. Surprises and twists in classic who were there, yes, BUT there was a reason for them other than to keep the audience utterly confused. I have sat watchign the new stuff for hours and none of it makes any sense if you actually analyse it properly.
