@jude6156 actually the mother can get pregnant immediately after birth. scary, huh? the father should be separated and only put back with any daughters/the mom after 4 weeks of being neutered and the sons should be separated from the mother by 21 days as they can impregnate her and the sisters.

@TheShadow9495 The Guinea Pigs did have a father, and I'm pretty sure that that was him in the other cage, but having a male Guinea Pig with her pups, even if they were his, would be very stressful, as female Guinea Pigs come into season a few hours after birth and it would have been too much for the mother to be carrying a litter and looking after another. It sounds harsh, I know, but it's just nature

@chocolatetaco321 For some people, keeping them is not an option. When I was 11, we had two guinea pigs. When they had babies we had to sell all four of the babies because we couldn't afford to keep both them and the parents. It was really hard for me to let them go, but the good news is they found good homes and lived long, happy, perfectly peaceful piggy lives with their new families.

Cute but you should put them in a bigger cage, and a cage cage, not a plastic one. Ventilation keeps a guinea pig healthy and so does room to exercise :D

@styleskater1 Please do not breed guinea pigs. It is non-profit and expensive. There are so many pigs who desperately need homes. Give them homes. Please do not breed your pigs, and do not encourage anyone else to breed their guinea pigs because it is so sad for people to breed guinea pigs and leave the ones that need homes to grow old in a shelter without any place to call home and no one to call their loving owners.

Everyone believes what's good for their pets.You believe wood is better; I believe the soft paper bedding is better.Well, let me tell why I believe the soft paper is better: It absorbs better their waste ,it's softer on their little feets.My guinea does not eats the bedding, so I'm comfortable using it.On the wood side it does not absorbs well,in the summer time flies lays those crawling magus and those things would dig into the guinea bottom and penetrate into them.And I say this on experience.

That bedding is no good.Is made out of wood and not too comfortable for their little feet.also not too absorbent. why not use the one made out of  paper.That's the one I use.
