Actually, now that I think about it... Ness and Lucas' special PSI moves were customizable, since you get to name it at the beginning. It made it more... Meaningful, to the player (like how the player is mentioned throughout the game, such as the final battle). So, for some people, it wouldn't have been PSI Rockin'. By leaving it out as a Final Smash, it still allows you to have that old meaning... But still, I'd have liked to see PSI Rockin'.

Words cannot describe how happy I am that Ness is back in Brawl. I was so worried..I don't have anything against Lucas, but Earthbound is like my favorite thing ever.
I hate to disagree but I find all of Ness's PK attacks better except for his PK Shield and his PK Flash, and still that's good if you can land it. His PK Thunder has great knockback, so you can juggle people with it. Also his PK Crash (Hit self with PK Thunder) has much greater knockback than Lucas's. His PK Fire is much more superior for two reasons. You can trap people in it to set up combos, and you can fire diagonally in the air. I still consider Lucas a good character though and I think his

Nah both Ness and Lucas are bad in Brawl. They're too slow and almost every character can mess up their recovery (especially Mario and G&W). Its all about SSB64 Ness, thats where its at!
Ness is better at sniping with pk thunder, as it has more range, but Lucas's is a bit easier to recover with in smaller spaces, plus it can catch moving characters more easily and combo them.

Lucas isnt from earthbound, hes from Mother3, which some people call Earthbound2, But i dont think it is, because earthbound is the english version.

This was back during the whole 'up until now' controversy from the Dojo was just cleared up, I was worried sick whether or not he'd be back.
I'll probably always prefer Ness, but Lucas is right behind him in my Brawl favorites. :D

Lawl. I love the N64 Ness.
But I do admit, in Brawl, Ness's Bair is cooler. It has that cool delay effect, so it feels better when you land it for a kill.
PK Flash is great for edge-guarding, though.

Ness is better used with more A attacks than B.
Lucas is more Reliant on B attacks than A attacks.

well, thats true. but you can't deny that PK thunder(Up B) is awesome and usefull as hell to both characters.
