I had a blue one and a black one it was a shame how the frames cracked.i really miss mine

I picked up 2 Ross Apollos at the thrift for 30.00 each 1 yellow 1 brown-yellow frame is loud and the brown bkie is gleaming, both have strait rims

I had a black 5 speed Ross as well. I received a lot of comments as the BMX frame bicycles were really popular but had only one gear. It got stolen in the early 80's. Good memories indeed.

Why make it a memory? I still enjoy riding my Ross 5 speed Apollo. Look online, and I am sure you can find one, although they are becoming bit more rare as the decades pass.

I had an early 70's version with the stick-shift, red trim, cyclone gear, and flat, slick muscle-bike tires. This was the only bike that competed with the Schwinn Chopper 5-Speed. It was fast and bad-ass!

its the best muscle bike ever made, it was the closest thing to a motorcycle a kid in the 70's could ever ride. I am gonna buy one for my kid

I still have my Ross Apollo 5 speed in Black. Lots of fun memories.

Was that the best bike or what, I chipped my 2 front teeth on that bike ( I loved that bike ). Those were the best times......I know exactly what your talking about.
