With respect, there's nothing 'wrong' with this, but I question the promo and reviews that suggest this warrants 'next big thing' status. The more experienced Shelby Lynn might be a better alternative (minus any dance videos). Florence Welch with The Machine is the current UK contemporary to beat. Before that, Amy Winehouse, Kate Bush, Dusty Springfield, Sandy Shaw... I'd like to say that there has been something better than these fine singers in recent years, but that's not the case.

A wonderful song with a tremendously catchy hook. Shades of Thom Bell in the arrangement. A great groove. This has been a good Autumn in the UK for great singles - Badly Drawn Boy, Eric Clapton - but this almost tops the lot for me. A very powerful lyric and superb idea - Not the drinking, not the drugs, not the money there's enough.
