@caiocrz I agree! My stepdad loves F1, hes a massive fan and i show very little interest! I tell him rally is better, he doesnt like it when i say that one bit! XD
o and such is the difference a driver makes in rallying I would bet Loeb would be pushing for wins even at the developing Mini, this is not circuit racing going round and round the same track 80 times, the driver has to do recce, decide notes and get one shot at the stage followed by a repeat later though conditions constantly change so they really do drive by the seat of their pants, Loeb can do this better than anyone and as long as he keeps his standard aint no manufacturer going to beat him
Ah Mikko Hirvonen.. always the brides maid and never the bride.. through sheer talent and relentless consistency Sebastian Loeb has killed the WRC, with strict regulations and development restrictions the cars are pretty much all the fucking same the only difference is the drivers and the only man who looks like maybe challenging Loebs crown consistently, is another bloody french Citroen driver, glad to see other manufacturers entering but honestly its just for scraps as long as Loeb competes
@PangeaSpreads In motorsport, the car ALWAYS matters more than the driver. In rallying, the driver is more important than in most other racing series, but the car is still what matters most. I doubt Loeb would be winning if he was driving the Mini. Also, I for one LOVE that I am able to see Loeb dominate the way he has. Most likely, it won't happen again, so I will enjoy it for as long as Loeb continues to drive. He is quite possibly the most complete driver I have ever seen.
@UltimateWheelman Ya your perfectly correct, Citroën have built cars better than ford for the last 8 years or so even when ford picked up a couple of manufacturers.. shut the fuck up, if Loeb was in a Ford or a fucking Lada the man would be winning, mini are developing as will vw OBVIOUSLY but when they reach the sharp end of development, because of restrictive development regulations the cars will never be at such an advantage as to beat Loeb, as it stands, the rally driver is a SERIOUS factor
@PangeaSpreads No shit the rally driver is a serious factor, idiot. I never said it wasn't, but the FACT about motorsport is that the team and machine are ALWAYS more important than the driver. It's the same in rallying no matter what you think. And telling me to shut the fuck up is pointless because I won't. In fact, I will annoy the shit out of you now for being such a cunt.
@UltimateWheelman Well in that case I'll point out your American and as such probably never unlike most Europeans, been to a WRC event and probably never drove a rally car either even though I'm sure a trolling looser like you will say you have, your shitty Chevy at some Kentucky dirt track aint rallying. You don't know shit so stop making a tit of yourself, what you think were Loeb at Ford and Miko at Citroen then Miko would be a seven time champion because Citroën is awesome manufacturer. LOL
@PangeaSpreads I love rally and have traveled around the world to see it. It is YOU who is making a tit of yourself. I responded with respect, and it was YOU who acted like a retarded cunt troll. I just gave it right back to you. BTW, Loeb doesn't win 7 straight titles if he drives for Ford for all those years. Yes he wins some titles, but not 7 straight. Same with Mikko. He wouldn't win 7 straight titles at Citroen, but he would have some titles instead of none. Understand now? I bet not.
@UltimateWheelman Of course you have and no, you twisted words and insinuated mistruths like the miserable trolling DICKHEAD you are. To love rally and to know rally are two separate things, and you dont know shit about rallying, Loeb has destroyed all who challenged him including his equally Citroën powered teammates over the years, every single one, no one could touch him and he would have destroyed Miko or anyone else had he been at ford and they at Citroen, you'll never understand that fact
@PangeaSpreads Let's look at Loeb's teammates. Dani Sordo? Not exactly a top driver now, is he? Sainz and McRae? At the end of their careers, past their prime. Only Ogier has been great. I know more about rally than you think and you still continue to embarrass yourself. It is clearly YOU who is the miserable dickhead troll. Just as I knew would happen, you still don't understand what I'm saying. Grow a brain and grow up. If you disagree, fine, but act like a fucking grown up.
@PangeaSpreads No, I won't let you forget that it was you who acted like a miserable troll. We could've had a decent conversation about it but you had to act like a dick. I've never once resorted to insulting you because you're Irish. I don't give a fuck where you're from. It doesn't matter to me. And yes, Loeb owns the WRC, along with Citroen. 7 wins from 8 rallies and not all of them are Loeb's. And hell no he wouldn't be leading the championship in a Mini.
@UltimateWheelman yawn.. twisting words again troll eh? I said I would be sure Loeb would be pushing for wins even at mini, not championships dickhead! the driver also influences the manufacturers direction, even if he were at mini he would have such a direct input into the setup and what needs to be done and changed that in a very quick time he would have the car somewhat to his likeing at which stage, combined with the fact the team he left now lacks his input, would result in him winning
@PangeaSpreads You are agreeing with me that the car matters. It is you who said the car doesn't matter, and here you are telling me that once Loeb got the Mini to his liking he would start winning. If the car doesn't matter, then why would it matter if Loeb got the car "to his liking"? Wouldn't Loeb just get into the car and start winning regardless? Also, you insist that you never said he'd win the title in a Mini. If the car doesn't matter, then why not? You can't even say he'd win the title.
@UltimateWheelman You just don't get it do you, telemetry and tolerances tell engineers the strengths and weaknesses of car and all their bits and pieces, tyre wear, suspension feedback etc but in rallying in particular there is no substitute for the driver and in Loeb, not only can he make a car dance but his knowledge of how to make it do that is what engineers feed off and ultimately make the difference, he would transform any team if they followed his input and have the engineers to oblique
@PangeaSpreads If the car doesn't matter, then why would he need to transform anything? And why would Loeb say that one of the pivotal reasons for staying in the WRC for two more years was the competitiveness of the DS3? If the car doesn't matter anymore, then why would he even care about the competitiveness of the car? All you have is insults, bad ones at that. I get a good laugh at how angry I make you. This is not even something worth getting mad at. Keep it up.
@UltimateWheelman LOL what a complete looser!!, I was away for a couple days hitting the dirt with friends on my MTB(unlike you I have a life outside the cyber world) and turn on my pc to find you are carrying on bitching and lying and trolling as usual even though there aint nothing coming back.. I'm actually embarrassed for you, I guess me, a guy that openly finds you a complete dickhead, is the closest you have to a friend, sad but you know what I just dont have time.
@PangeaSpreads Can't defend your stance anymore, I see. I have really gotten under your skin. Good. And you're insults are so bad it makes me laugh. It doesn't take long to post a comment on here. There's more than enough hours in a day to post on here, work, and have a life, but go ahead and pretend that I'm on here 20 hours a day if it makes you feel better. You have nothing else going for you, certainly not intelligence. Reading your posts in this vid, it is YOU that comes off as a loser.
You need to put the onboard camera steering wheel view in all the cars now..... It's taken 8 months but at last you have found a good angle for proper onboard, Ta.
I rate rally drivers more than any F1 driver.

@caiocrz I'd say they're equally tallented. F1 is physically demanding; long races, hot conditions, G forces.
Rally is mentally demanding, unclear tracks, where one slip and you're upside down in a tree.
You need to be a pretty special person to excell at either sport.
