why is ballos so easy? i died at least 20 times on the hell run, (most deaths because of stupid heavy press or the first room) and when i finally got to ballos, i beat him on the first try. honestly, the dragon sisters gave me a tougher time(because i didn't have spur then, first playthrough)

@TheWaddledont he's kinda tricky the first time you beat the game, especially depending on your weapon selection (in the actual game you cant have as many weapons as boss rush allows for).

once you figure out the tricks he's not too hard.

L/R cycles weapons

SELECT opens the map

START opens the inventory

@v4extreme Oh, well I never beat the original PC version, however I did beat the DSi port which is almost an exact port of the PC version, and I beat the WiiWare version, both I had to use a D-Pad, playing on a keyboard gets confusing for me.

@InuYashafanboyee boosting and shooting simultaneously is near impossible on a gamepad, and you cant do tricks with the booster/jumping that involve holding left and right at the same time. kb ftw.

@v4extreme What do you mean it's near impossible to boost and shoot simultaneously? I had to do it constantly earlier while trying to get the King themed title screen earlier, and it was really easy. However, I have no idea what you're talking about when you say there's a trick with holding left and right.

@InuYashafanboyee of course not, you play with a d-pad lol. there's not a specific trick or anything, it's just easier to manipulate his movement in some cases when you can hold them both.

Would be nice if the Wii version had an intense boss rush like this and a easy mode like they curently have.

Now I understand why you get the blade as a later weapon.

I wonder if they game desinger knew that trick for Balos.

And yeah the wii version boss rush was kind of a letdown.

i think minimun life capsules and seeing use of some weaker weapons would be better.
