There are indeed different styles of preaching and preaching, for the most part, serves a different purpose than teaching. Preaching is to uplift, encourage, inspire and motivate and sometimes a higher level of emotional excitement is put forth. Some might call it theatrics, but if that's what it takes to inspire and uplift and drive the Word home, then so be it. I get something from all kinds of preaching because I go in looking to get a Word from the Lord.

so true... There are different styles of Preaching God's Word. It's how the holy spirit gives it to you. There is Joel Osteen, who's message is outstanding. The same goes for Pastor Ron Gibson, just his style is brought forth in a different way, same message though. Like you said, that is what matters. :)

Dr. Gibson is one of the best preachers in calif.I've been know him since the early eighty's this can read your mail I've seen him talk to people about their life in whom he has never seen or heard of before.
