No its not. It was state founded for the Muslims who lived under the British Raj. It has periods of rapid economic progress, and periods of decline. The country has never had the chance to properly prosper. Its either been war with its neighboring brothers/sisters India or being partners of the US. Remember Pakistan has been the greatest ally in that region for America for the last 60 or so years

This was all bullshit. Pakistan is a safe country. The instability is from outside mainly due to usa which is making trouble in central asia (afghanistan) and middle east(iraq). Bomb usa and stability will follow in a split second. I think bombing isnt even needed since in a few years usa will no longer be a super power. China, russia, india, iran will become equal rivals and world will have order.

Musharaf is in this position today, because of bending over backwards for Bush/US policies. After supporting US in the months after 9/11, Musharaf went all in.
