We just bought the I8 and its awesome . We found out our sleep number at the store . Played alittle with the number and have to say its the best money spent. I would think the c model you bought know as the classic is why its not as good as the newer ones out today.

Wow..cheaply made..I don't understand why ppl wanna buy a bed anyways that requires electricity, I mean what happens when u loose power? Then what? I have a Simmons Visco Memory foam and love it. And only paid $900 for it.

To bad u bought there cheapest model.They make 8 models of which 5 of them have pumps with no noise. I personally have there i10 model which I could not live withought!

I agree that the quality is low. BUT you could have went to ANY sleep number store and viewed this bed in person, and throughly looked at it in store before purchasing it. And I agree with the others here, you should always read the reviews on a major purchase before buying. So this is a complete fail on your part! Do your research next time! And i'm glad you at least got your money back, however I don't think you deserved it.

MAKE YOUR OWN MEMORY FOAM BED, HOW TO:

A memory foam bed is just a 5 inch or so layer of regular foam then with memory foam on top of it. In business school, my professor ran a manufacturing company. There are alot of companies that will make you something custom. Just look for a company that makes foam products and give them your specifications and they will make it. Then simply buy a memory foam mattress topper and you now have a memory foam bed. It can be done.

Hi, thanks for letting the world know the truth. Big corporations do a very good job of selling you things, no matter what the quality actually is. I wonder how many beds they would sell if they said "Ok here we have an air bed with foam on top of it" or in Tempurpedics case "Here we have a bed that is nothing but foam, all foam eventually breaks down to some degree but we are going to charge you an arm and a leg for it". My advice would be to just go to a bed store and test as many beds as.

Wow, my air system make no where near that amount of noise. I have the P5 series and have had very good results. Sorry you had so much trouble with yours.

First question I have for you is how did you buy something without knowing what noise the pump made when you adjust it? Would you buy a car without ever driving it? They have like 5 models w/ a pump that makes no noise what so ever. Why did you buy the one with noise if you hate it? You can return it after 30 days if you don't like it, you can return the base too, and get your money back, you can't return a reclining base but it is only because all moving bases are a different company than slee

GREAT job! Your video says it all. I've sent it to everyone I know and posted it on my fb page. We purchased the $9000 top of the line sleep # bed and we HATE it too. Called after 4 nights to return it. They say the $3000 base is not returnable. This after Kimberly Holley, Select Comfort's Jacksonville, FL sales Rep told us specifically that if we didn't like the bed it would only cost us $150 to try it for 30 days. The contract does not state that the base is not returnable. Video time!

i have a sleep number that i wouldn't take anything for! the pump that i have is whisper quiet... i can't ever tell when my husband adjusts his side. i have never gotten such a good nite's sleep as i have been getting for the past 5 yrs on my select comfort bed! thx sleep number!!!!

That's great..........I hope I have that happen. I've done nothing but complain. I HATE IT.......... Ours has a 6 inch hole on one side, compared to the other. It also was a special ed. The SLi. has it for 17 days. I'll keep complaining, for $5,000
