Is the club dumb enough not to have a clause in the contract that if anything like this happens, he can be kicked out immediately and not just let go without pay, but sued for damages? I blame the Yankees if they sign a contract without making sure that if the employee is suddenly an embarrassment because of his own actions, he flies out in a minute. Some of these arguments are so ridiculous. Yes most athletes skills are supposed to diminish as they get older. But every now and then you've got your Brett Farve and your Nolan Ryan... freaks who still perform at the highest level as they age. Arod just turned 33 this year. He broke into the bigs at 20. His numbers have always been outstanding since day one. His physique has changed a bit but that's occured slowly over a 14 year career. Dude is a VERY special athlete and works his tail off...

Look, you just have to look at his build now vs. when he started playing. It's pretty simple. If you have a slender, athletic build, and are very flexible and fast, you cannot possibly become an Arnold build without human growth hormone.

Look at their pictures from when they started vs. later in their careers. You use your brain, you just made a statement with no proof, and are going by pictures to back it up. Every single athlete develops more as they get older. He also hasn't gotten much stronger then...he always hit around 30-40 hr's.

Bonds had his HR's go up and up and up, ARod has constantly hit 30-40 HR for his entire career. If you paid attention you would know that he actually lost weight, before last season. So that he could be quicker.
