I think the economy will be the biggest factor in the next election. Labour governments have always left the country with higher unemployment and bigger debt than when they took over. The problem is worse than any other Labour govt previously, because this time they've been in power much longer.

False. The only Labour government to leave this country with a higher debt than it inherited was the previous one. Unemployment has never reached 10% under any Labour government, whereas it did on two seperate occasions under the 1979-1997 Conservative government.

If the Tories win the next election it will be due stagflation. - Personal inflation is running at 10% on average for a lot of people, jobs will and are already being lost. Debt has been tightened, so times are tight for a lot of people. Labour will lose on that main factor : the economy.

You are so correct, there was no minnumum wage, - it will be raised to £5.62 from October, lets say you do a 40 hour week, £224.80 would be yor pay, X this by 52 weeks and it gives you £11690. Considering the average house is over 200k in Britain now ad also if you earn less than £16800 you are classed as being in "relative poverty", what differnce does £5.62 make. 10 Million unemloyed if you count all areas of claimants. Bring back Thatcher!
