No he wasn't chubby. He's very thin. It's because of the bad haircut. His face seemed to be bigger. The make up did make look he was a little fatter, but he wasn't.

He also put on muscle towards the end of the series, I guess they had all the actors working out like 'real' gay men would, and he really developed his pecs and abs. HOT! I don't think that Gale could EVER be chubby - its just not in his genes! If you look closely, he doesnt have an ounce of fat on his body. In places where there is no muscle, you can see his ribs ect!! XXX
