This elevator seems to run better than any other Schindler on the property, I wouldn't be too surprised if this replaced a crappy Schindler MT (more than likely didn't).

I think MTs went away a long time ago.

It DEFINATELY runs better than the Mall MT elevator. That thing's a death trap.

(They somewhat ruined the main glass one. Still rides great, but it's not smooth acceleration/deceleration, and silent operation as a true Westy. You'd swear it was traction, it was so smooth, until you saw the piston, of course.)

For a Schindler, I must say that though while it doesn't appear to be well-maintained, it seems to be a fairly decent lift. I'm not the greatest Schindler fan in the world, but color me impressed by the ride quality of this particular unit.

The Commercial Lines tend to hold up better, and run better. Their purchase of Commercial is probably the only thing that lends them quality of any kind.
