Do you have to cook it for a long time because you're making it into a pudding? How long would you cook it for it to be just plain sticky rice? (For sushi rolls, etc...)
@SMILEnatLUVSyou Hi Natalie. It takes anywhere from 45 minutes to two hours to boil black rice -- and that's with already soaking it for 6-8 hours. That's one of the reasons we usually just cook it overnight in the slow cooker. That said, there are several kinds of black rice, so check the cooking directions on the package label.
