The words to this song were ony written in English. You may be thinking of Nella Fantasia which uses the same soundtrack of Gabriels's Oboe from The Mission. Ennio Morricone had no involvement with the Nella Fantasia lyrics but colaborated with Hayley on Whispers in a Dream. Hayley wrote the lyrics.

i like the singing from hayley but i absolutley hate the lyrics it makes the song sound cheesy, it sounds/feels so much better in Italian

I just saw this on TV today since it aired in New Zealand on Christmas Day. So proud of what Hayley's achieved this year. Performing the national anthem for U.K. and then for New Zealand at the Rugby World Cup finals(where we also won!). Now this! if only the HRM Queen Elizabeth was there to see this...

I love Hayley and I love Rolando, but i dont think the duet worked very well, their voices are just so differant, he sounds so opera, and she's a classical/musical singer, it seemed wrong

now if it was Alfie Boe and Hayley, i'd have fainted

The solo performances were very good, but the duet was amazing. I thought their voices went very well together! It's just such a shame that Rolando drowns her out for a bit of it - opera singer with classical/cross-over singer, it would happen.
