@ezio2altair fortunately its very easy to pin google to you start screen. That is what I did and the blue tile withe the g on it looks sexy. Works perfectly as well.
This is just awesome! Some folks are complaining about the looks, but as a Zune user I tell you, the navigation on this layout is super simple. I'm waiting for a phone powerful enough to take full advantage of Mango's features. Nokia Lumia 900 is a nice start, but it still has a few things that could be better. I have an HTC Titan. Absolutely love the phone. The only gripes that I have about the Windows Phone is the lack of quality Google apps, which isn't Microsoft's fault it is Google. I think right now people are still very unfamiliar with WP7 OS because we are so adapted to iOS layout (again Android is like iOS with a twist). So, it's no surprise that people still think "oh god, so ugly, I hate the tiles". Everytime I see WP7, I see new innovations and new ways to use a smartphone. You probably won't get what you like about iOS in WP7, but similarly, I doubt iOS can mimic what WP7 is either. Android... is a geek OS, that's my take on it. I love android too, but.. yeah.
I have used android and iOS, but not yet a WP7. From the look of things, it seems that WP7 is focused on being a social phone (facebook, e-mails etc.) where as iOS is more on the functionality spectrum. Though, to be clear all Apple did was perfect the hardware, and most of the values to iphones is still the apps (+cydia of course). Android imho is just an extra twist on iOS with customizability. I think I see much bigger potential from WP7, simply because it is very different.
Mango update seems laggier than nodo for some reason. When i'm in bing and rotate it to have landscape mode, the animation is so laggy that it's noticible comparing it to NODO version. Not only that, pinch and zooming in the browser feels nanoseconds laggier than t he previous build and the animation that i miss from nodo build is when you pin the recent contact to start screen from people hub. Maybe this is the sign of having an old cpu and gpu?

windows phone looks much smoother than android I would really be considering a windows phone if 1, it had better hardware phones with high quality screens and components I can't stand the cheap plasticky phones as i'm sure many people wouldn't either.

@TigerKurdish Most everyone I know uses a cover or Skin for their phone, to protect it so the outside of the phone really doesn't matter if someone covers it with a Skin. Having many people as well as several in the house having Iphones, the Windows layout, tiles and smoothness is lightyears ahead of IPhone, IMO.

What I noticed with Android OS, Apple IOS, And WP7 OS Is:
Android OS is Completely open no collar what so ever you can do what ever you want, Apple ios has a total shock collar on its devices and you are restricted with a very short line, and with Wp7 it is neutral its between both Android and ios it does have a very loose collar on and a lot of slack.
@merchant117 ive been runing mango beta 2 for a while and it is so much better then nodo.. havent really encountered any bugs besides not being able to sync twitter contacts. other then that, flawless!!

At 3:30 you talk about the hidden wallpapers being new, but those were actually already available. Settings > lock & wallpaper > change wallpaper > Wallpapers.

Is this guy well versed in WP7? Because I have a Samsung Focus and it's smooth as butter in terms of scrolling and other things. I've never noticed any stuttering. Maybe it's faster in Mango, but to suggest there is stuttering in WP7 is not accurate. In fact, it may be the smoothest OS I've ever used. Only stuttering I've seen is in 3rd party apps.
Also, the wallpaper album is on my Focus, and has always been there.
So when apple updates its phone its slower and when Microsoft updates its phone its faster?!?!?!?

Yes - I have Mango it works. Genre set any song to Ringtone in Zune and it becomes a Custom Ringtone Option.

The smoothness of the app list and moving tiles must be an issue specific to that phone because my arrive is just as smooth as his mango phone.

You can tell just from the start screen that Mango makes the phone faster; the clock on the Mango device is about 30 seconds faster :P
