I can't read the text on your channel unless I hilight it. Is that on purpose? What sort of iterations are you getting at the terminating mini-brot. 357 zooms would take about a month on my Pentium D. @CommandLineCowboy: I use a Phenom II 355 @ 3.6 Ghz, Vista 64bit for most of my fractal videos. There are four processing cores and 8Gb DDR3 RAM @ 1333. I read on wikipedia that the Pentium Ds are dual-core and 64-bit capable. Are you using a 64-bit OS? That will give you a speed boost of 4-5x compared to the 32-bit versions, even on the same system. My main render system averages about 14 times as fast in 64-bit mode as the 2006 2.0Ghz core duo laptop I'm using right now (XP 32bit).
@CommandLineCowboy The iterations are pretty low for this one. A little over 3000 for the main feature where the still image is. My final iteration count is like either 500,000 or 1,000,000, but only because I wanted a really crisp brot at the end. The iterations don't even soar above 15,000 until the last ten or so seconds of video. That's the only reason why I could afford to do 1280HD with 2x2 antialias.
@CommandLineCowboy As for my chanel page, I have never altered my profile color settings from default. It is black text on white or pale bluish gray. I checked it in IE, Chrome, and Firefox. Make sure you haven't set your browser to display funky text colors or to override html code.
What are the coordinates?
