Phil is gifted, no doubt, but, like in this song, he has a real problem with tempo. Most of the covers he performs, as in the Fretted Americana videos, the tempo is always too fast. If he could learn to slow it down and put more emphasis on each note, rather than a speed contest, he would be heads above most guitarist. Phil, if your reading this, I LOVE YOUR STYLE! It's my only criticicism!
