I managed to find the DVD for £5 from my local music shop. When home and tried it out. This really is worth the money if you want to improve your chops.
@nemogre At first you just do section by section, but the aim is to gradually be able to play the entire workout without stopping. It's an endurance test of sorts
@yootesa1515 don't worry about playing it as fast as he is! start off wayy slower i think he is playing somewhere around 114bpm.... honestly i would start off around 72bpm :P forreal its so boring at first but you're timing will be perfect once you work your way up to faster tempos... i once met a teacher who told all of his students to practice scales at like 40bpm, that reallllly tests your rhythm.....
iv been practecing this for about 2 months and i cant play after 4:45 , its so hard any advice ? and also when he plays the modes WTF its lightning fast and not even the way im used to them
@yootesa1515 Check ur grip! How much tension do u have in ur fretting hand? Lots of players have a tense grip, especially when they approach difficult to play passages. It's a psychological thing brought on by stress due to the anticipation. Relax ur fretting hand completely! Rid it completely of tension and just let ur fingers float over the frets and use light touches! It doesn't take a lot of pressure to fret. If u do this u will have complete dexterity in that hand.
Chopbuilder really is a pretty good instructional DVD for the advanced beginner . I used it quite a bit and that stuff stuck! My alternate picking is much smoother, I memorized the modes, and even got to the point of holding my pick like he does (very stable grip).
Ahhh, the ripped sleeve Tank Top with black sequenced jeans and boots.

@AcceptNoBullshit Chops= strength, agility, dexterity in the hands that enable you to play faster with more endurance.
