I fell under Yvonne's spell when I was a little boy. The movie was "The 10 Commandments" and my Dad said "Look, there is Lily Munster!". I had NO CLUE! Later in life, I re-discovered Yvonne....What a woman. Not just in her career, but her personal life was QUITE A STORY. I haven't been so moved in a long time. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST Yvonne De Carlo tribute I have ever seen! I DARE anyone to watch this and NOT be moved!! THANK YOU!! -Brian in NY
She was a beauty! As a child, I first saw her on tv in her film Salome Where She Danced. When she stepped out of the shell, she took my breath away with her beauty. She left a lasting impression. Thank you for this heartfelt tribute to Yvonne!
@shane13233 Happy New Year, Johan! Glad you liked the tribute! omg...you saw Desert Hawk!? well, that makes 2 of us. I have it (brought it off someone recently) just for this tribute! I agree with everything you said...and yes, a very young Rock Hudson was in that movie.
Doug, if a person does not know Yvonne De Carlo, just look at this video to understand and be entranced by its beauty!! I do not know to judge its quality as an actress, because I know little, but its beauty is great, transporting the viewer into a fantasy world!! I really like your editing, as always you are original in your work!! The music of Forrest Gump me excited!!Thank you for sharing and especially to have madeknown to some aspects of this woman!! Thumb up deserved!!
Great tribute to Yvonne, Doug! Such beauty definitely should be remembered. Gorgeous colour clps, and interesting description, the only fact I knew about her personal life is that Howard Duff left her for Ava :) Lovely music as ever and terrific watermark too!
p.s. I'm pretty sure that is Tony Curtis dancing with her at 5:47. On imdb it says he plays a gigolo in Criss Cross but is uncredited, so that could well be him!
Love the title of this video. The watermark is amazing! So cool! The stills of Yvonne are gorgeous, and made magically beautiful by the piece from Forrest Gump. Her eyes are so striking, the brightness of them matched with her darker features is really special, I'm not surprised you fell in love with her making this video Doug! Who wouldn't? especially with this beautiful tribute. All music choices were spot on by the way. Finally there is a great tribute to Yvonne de Carlo on YouTube.
@cloudidogz Attention to detail as always Doug! haha, all the photos you chose for this were gorgeous, but yeh the last one was interesting, and different to what people usually use to end a video, but it shows Yvonne's inner strength like you said! Will reply to your message later :)
How beautiful she was indeed.

Wonderful tribute with a wonderful soundtrack ( Alan Silvestri....you know wich movie, and many more composers ).
She was a very attractive actress.
I know her from the movie Desert Hawk, with Rock Hudson i believe.
When she played prinses Sheherazade.
But that was a long time ago.
Again, a great tribute.....you`ve done it again Doug.
By the way, Richard Greene was also in that movie.
Thanks, and a very happy 2012!!!!
