Ive researched Bible versions over and over and the KJV is by far the most trusted from the best manuscripts. Only problem is I cant understand half of it. Thank goodness for NLT which is clear and brings a fresh contemporary understanding of the Bible. It also says "Christ" in Phillipians 4;13 which is very important to me. "Christ" is removed from this verse in most modern versions but it is in the NLT. Like all versions its not a perfect translation but close enough for me.
It's better than it used to be but if you really want to examine the Bible, I'd encourage you to download (all free) the e-Sword computer Bible software program and all the helps that are also free. You'll be amazed at that things it will provoke you to search out and it will be so quick and easy to do so.
Cool video! I myself have come out of mormonism(kjv only) and have been researching the different versions and am not sure which one to go with. I'll check the NLT out. I have heard that its the easiest to read and understand.
@MrZepron2112 If you were a Mormon, why aren't you aware of the fact they are not "kjv only"? Joseph Smith made his own revised version and the official Mormon teaching is that the KJV is corrupt--the original position of Smith and Young and never corrected by modern LDS teachings.
