  • can i connect my guitar through 3.5mm jack adapter ?

  • @mjcharis You should use an audio interface that does the proper impedance matching. Some modern Macs may support iRig for this but you are best with a proper audio interface.

  • Why is it that then I use this I get a crackly sound every few seconds? My guitar and amp seem fine and I've used the cord connected to the amp for other things and it doesn't lose a signal or anything. So little help please

  • @legojunk53 You probably have your buffer settings set too low and you should also make sure you are using the latest ASIO drivers for your audio interface. Make sure you are using the Hi-Z/Instrument input on your interface too. If you are not using an audio interface (for example, using the built-in sound card on your computer) you will not get low-latency/good results most likely.

  • Is that how they add effects like EQ,compression and other things? to be honest I know how to add the effects but I do not know how to use them properly!

  • Hi, i've bought this software there's a few weeks it's great by the way :D you've just won a new customer !

Anyway i'm asking if there's a possibility to use a wah wah with this software (a usb wahwah if it exist or an external if doesn't) and please your wahwah pedal is expensive for me so i'm looking for alternative if there's any :D

    Thanks

  • excellent video.

    I'd like to try amplitube.

I currently use guitar rig and a POD X3 and think Guitar rig is great but this has such a good rep I wouldn't mind giving it a shot.

  • I'm having trouble. i've connected my guitar through my amp and then another wire from the line out through a 1/4 to 3.5 jack convertor but all i am getting is a really tinny buzzy noise. the only input i can select is my laptop's microphone so i'm not sure where to go from here

  • @GuitarHeroMetalRival You need an audio interface. We make a few like StealthPlug, StealthPedal, and StompIO.

  • @ikmultimedia ah ok, thanks for the quick reply

  • IK, how do you zoom in on the rack effect like that? Is that just your video software or does Amplitude do that? If it doesn't then version 4 should have this feature.

  • how to get this?for free?

  • @AreYie93ae You mean you are asking how to steal this software without paying for it on the YouTube channel of the company that makes it? You've got a great head start on making poor choices. Piracy is a poor choice not only because it hurts the company that creates this software (and it isn't expensive, by the way) it will also likely leave you with a completely borked computer full of malware. I believe the term for the latter is "karma."

You could always try the demo, then BUY it, BTW.

  • @ikmultimedia haha what a noob

  • @ikmultimedia HAHA!!

  • @ikmultimedia i use your software through M-audio fast track usb. I get nice cleans but shity Distorted sounds? how i should connect it to get the max quality? atm i got my usb sound card i Plug in the guitar cable in the card and then i take 1/8 jack and plugin in the headphones but still shity. no delay but shity quality.

  • @WutangClan4LiF3 You would definitely need to make sure you connect to the Hi-Z or Instrument input on the interface. If that isn't the cause, please contact our Technical Support via the IK Multimedia site and they will help you.

  • @AreYie93ae Let me help you out. Walk into guitar center if you have the time. Ask for amplitube 3 and guess what in exchange for dollars they give you this thing ABSOLUTELY FREE. Then go drool.

  • I Love this effect!

    It´s Delicious.
