@CommieKid If you have had to dump an entire boxmag (3000 rounds) from a LMG firing 450 fps into someone from under 50 feet away and they call YOU out, you would feel the same. Same thing happens in cqb, if I can't kill you with a dozen hits in semi-auto, I'm going to spray a whole mag into you. Furthermore, I occasionally ref at an indoor cqb field and I've seen all too many terminators show up and hurt kids. I am NOT afraid to spray down a cheater and throw them out.
@DisguisedAirsofter Well, I don't know where you play but where I play people are definitely more honest. I've never seen someone get hit by an entire boxmag and not call out. I've seen people not call 1-3 hits, but I don't let them ruin my day and make me feel all shitty about it.
@CommieKid I could care less if I have to shoot someone twice in semi-auto because the first shot hit some gear or somewhere they wouldn't notice. If I hit someone multiple times in a noticable area, it's hard to not call out.
What's there not to be serious about? It's a gentleman's sport where you should be able to rely on people's sense of honor. The world is full of cheaters, and Disguised show us a solution rather than ignoring the problem. Not giving a shit, is an ability only a very select few are blessed with. Besides airsoft is as much about the community as it's about the games themselves. It wouldn't hurt to scare away some of those cheaters <3
I'm gonna make an Airsoft team when I move to San Antonio ,I'm making a rule that if you don't call your hits and you get caught ,we take their shirt of and all shoot him until he gets the idea
cheaters will still not call their hits, even with 60rps. use .30g and aim for legs. i normaly use 7.4v on my DSG builds just to conserve bb's, but i slap on an 11.1v just to show off at the field.
BTW if you guys want to see what 400 fps does to the skin watch my new video. We shoot a girl in teh back with a stock KWA from about 10 feet through 1 t shirt. They dont cause bleeders but they leave big red welts
@DisguisedAirsofter Yeah. The worst welts i ever saw were these blood welts with massive bruises around them. Much nastier than a full power paintball gun but around the same sized bruise. It was my buddy getting hit from around 100 feet through a BDU jacket with a t shirt underneath which stopped the bb from going through the skin. Instead it just dispersed the damage so wide it was that big. He had 4 of them on his back.
To me it hurts more to be shot by a low FPS gun with a very fast rate of fire than a high FPS with a slow rate of fire. Plus its more fun to shoot a fast spraying gun.
@bullmeatt I run my field guns way up in power when I can - my AK was last clocked at 630 fps and 28 rps. Problem is, I hate doing spring swaps for every field I go to, so I'm going to get the v3 fusion engine whenever that eventually gets released and then maybe I can see about trying the true limits of airsoft range.
I'm yet to find a field with all of the right people then.

No, I would say I have the aim and hit someone many times approach. The "spray and pray" method (and blindfiring) is outlawed at the indoor arena I play at. (thankfully)

i agree 100%. its why i run guns 25-30 rps at the maximum FPS. I make sure i get em with a good 5 round burst. They call it every time on bursts
