  • Love the stainless steel kit and it sounds good as well.

    Cheers

  • sounds good!

  • I'm still working on getting my set just the way I want it. But again I greatly appreciate the info. Keep on rockin'...

  • I'm loving that shirt!! That's just fantastic!

  • Nice drumsolo, and killer kit, thank god it is not the eighties anymore where people told me I could be replaced by a drum machine. Drummers with flair stand out.

  • Hey, your actually not bad. :) So what songs can you play?

  • I can think of a few: Trampled Underfoot, Stairway To Heaven, Black Dog, Rock And Roll, In The Evening, Custard Pie, In My Time Of Dying, Down By The Seaside, Ten Years Gone, Achilles Last Stand, Royal Orleans, Nobody's Fault But Mine, The Crunge, For Your Life, I Can't Quit You Baby, Since I've Been Loving You, Immigrant Song, The Wanton Song, The Song Remains The Same, Over The Hills And Far Away, and others in the Led Zeppelin catalog.

  • @Aspergian Great drumming. Mind if I ask whats your set up.

  • @101Petercriss101 It's the Ludwig Limited Edition Stainless Steel drum kit I was fortunate to get hold of one of from a Sam Ash Music store. 12" x 15" rack tom, 16" x 16" and 16" x 18" floor toms, 14" x 26" bass drum, and the Ludwig 6.5" x 14" Alex Van Halen Signature Snare Drum made from Santos Rosewood, with a Remo 14" Emperor-X head on the batter side, a Remo 14" snare side Ambassador clear head on the bottom.

  • @Aspergian it sounds great and thanks for the info keep up the great playin' man...

  • @101Petercriss101 I also have the Ludwig Supraphonic 6.5" x 14" snare drum with matching blue/olive parallelogram badge that came with this set, but decided to use this other instead. Cymbalwise, it's all Paiste, from their Giant Beat drum set cymbal line; 15" Hi-Hats, two 18", two 20", and 24" Multi-Function cymbals. The gong is also from Paiste; 30" Symphonic Gong. I would have used my two Ludwig timpani drums, but they are in their trunk cases on caster wheels in the garage.

  • @101Petercriss101 I have the 2002 drum set cymbal line from Paiste as well.

  • @101Petercriss101 A second drum kit is also owned by me; the Ludwig Classic Maple "Zep Set" in gloss lacquered Natural Maple finish. One day I aim to own a couple of other Ludwig Classic Maple "Zep Sets" in Green Sparkle Wrap and Arctic White finishes, along with the Ludwig Amber Vistalite "Zep Set." Why I would have a Ludwig Classic Maple "Zep Set" in Arctic White is to go with this Ludwig Classic Maple 16" x 18" floor tom in Sable Black I also own, to have a sort of zebra color pattern.
