Spongebob is, indeed, the only remaining show on Nickelodeon that started in the 90's.

Another Nickelodeon show that does have roots in the 90's is Fairly Odd Parents. While the show, itself started in 2001, the characters & concept were introduced as shorts back in 1998.

Only old skool Nickelodeon could be openly wacky and zany yet get away with it. New Nickelodeon sucks! I will have nothing what so ever to do with it, they are basically the Disney channel now, they have lost their originality and most of all, what made them famous in the first place. Old skool Nickelodeon cartoons are amazing and they can't be beat, they were hand drawn, and hand painted. I loved how the cartoons slightly quivered and how they used squiggly lines for effects...Good Times!
