I can totally identify with oliasdoug. These guys were unbelievably creative. What an incredible sound they put forth. I got to know their music also, in the 70's, and they were held in extreme high regard, by myself, and the intelligent people who surrounded me. One of the greatest bands, like ELP, and Floyd, and Yes...they excelled beyond time.
@Beadbud5000 FUCK YES!! Someone else feels the same way!! Amon Duul II's "Tanz Der Lemminge", Genesis's "Nursery Cryme", Gentle Giant's "Acquiring The Taste", Lindisfarne's "Fog On The Tyne".......it WAS a great year for music - and this was 2 years before I was born.
SO much about this band was unique--Tony's rhythm strumming & lead style, Glyn's incomparably beautiful singing voice, Jon's mastery over the flutes & percussion. And yes, they were so far ahead of their time that people were either unaware of them in their early years or just couldn't grok the music. There haven't been too many life-changing events in my 55 years...hearing JW's music for the first time (Lady of the Lake/Borne Onto the Solar Wind) was one of the few. I've never been the same.
Perfect Sunday afternoon music...great visuals, too. Thanks. This was a band that should have been (and should be) more appreciated than they were. They were ahead of their time.

Fabulous song, and imaginative use of stills to compliment it too.
Well done!
