As a fan of this group (from the beginning), I have always wished that a "bigger" band (REM, U2, Counting Crows) would have done a cover of this (as a B Side, or on an EP) that would have provided greater (warranted) attention.
When I listened to this song for the first time in 1994 I had a difficult situation that made me realise that my own steps made echoe because I was so alone, that I had to find someone to talk to.......... and I did it... was a very strange coincidence!
Me pareceria estar escuchando mi radio favorita de los noventa y que despues de ésta comenzarian a tocar said I love you but I lie de michael Bolton¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ diganme si no fueron epocas carajo¡¡
goreous song and lyrics. and what a sweatheart he is! I never knew who had done these songs that I loved so much. Sort of one of those "soundtrack to your life" types of songs. Blessings from Atlanta, GA...
OMG I finally found the song :) I remember hearing this song on a radio station that isnt around anymore in CO. Drove me nuts when the radio played "where the streets have no name" cause when it started I thought they were gonna play this song. Even when I forgot most of this song I remembered that U2 song used to remind me of another. Thanks a mill for posting.
esta rola, como me acompañaba en mis desvelos en la universidad, al cursar mi carrera, en aquellos años 90´s cuando estaba radio activo y entre himno e himno.
I wish I could remember specifically. Somewhere in the general Los Angeles area, but beyond that it's hard to recall. It was all filmed on a soundstage instead of on-location, though.
I remember a little bit better... it was a soundstage in Burbank, near the Burbank Airport, maybe on Vineland (???). And I remember that each of the rooms had been painted in Crayola crayon colors -- real blue, real red, real yellow, real green.
How is this song not one of the top 100 songs ever?

@killzoney Indie rock I guess you could call it. The Devlins don't go very loud. They are a pretty mellow band.

This song is perfect. How music should be written, performed and put in to video. Timeless and beautiful.
